Celebrate 20 Years of Forza Motorsport with Fujimi Kaido

It’s almost 20 years since the release of the first Forza Motorsport game. This moment was the beginning of a multi-decade journey to turn car lovers into gamers, and gamers into car lovers, one that would eventually lead us to the vibrant community we have today – a community driven by car passion, racing skills, competition and creativity.

Over the years that followed our debut game in 2005, we continued exploring our vision of creating innovative and immersive automotive experiences with the release of Forza Motorsport 2, 3, and 4 on Xbox 360; Forza Motorsport 5, 6, and 7 on Xbox One, and most recently, Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

With less than two months until the 20th anniversary, today we are excited to share with you a preview of the content that will be available in Forza Motorsport as part of our May update, which includes the eagerly awaited return of a track considered truly legendary in the Forza community.

Since the release of Forza Motorsport in October 2023, our team has been fully recreating Fujimi Kaido to modern standards in our biggest track project ever! Race and drift on the Full Circuit or Full Circuit Reverse that stretches 10.24 miles (16.5 km) in length featuring 144 extreme turns and a 2,711-foot (828 meters) summit.

Our goal is to recapture the magic of drifting with your friends on the massive stretches of serpentine Japanese mountain roads at Fujimi Kaido, and we can’t wait for you to slide sideways once again as we now work to refine and polish this Forza original track for integration into the game this May.

Fujimi Kaido is only the start of our upcoming anniversary content in Forza Motorsport. There are also some highly requested cars coming to the game, in addition to unlockable driver suits, special events in both Career and Featured Multiplayer, new themed Rivals challenges, and more.

We will have more to share about the Forza Motorsport 20th anniversary as we approach the release of the update in May. Stay tuned to our @ForzaMotorsport social channels on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, and X (formerly Twitter) for those details, where you can also let us know your favorite Forza Motorsport memories by using #ForzaMotorsport20.

Plus, subscribe to the Forza Newsletter to be informed about everything that’s happening both in the game and our community – you will also receive the bonus Otherworld Driver Suit in Forza Motorsport just for signing up.

It’s been an incredible 20 years of racing and drifting. We look forward to sharing this anniversary with you, our players – let’s celebrate this milestone together on the track in Forza Motorsport.

Cant wait to see what kind of Pit Lane they have for the track

Cool.

Ditch the FoMo and I’ll be more interested in playing consistently.

I speculated about this myself… but must admit… it feels kinda unreal to hear that we’re indeed getting back the Fujimi Kaido. Grand, grand news!

Kaido coming back to Forza is the absolute best piece of news I’ve received in a long time. I mean I can’t believe it’s finally happening!

Now with this, please oh pretty please restore the sound of the Supra RZ Turn 10, I’m definitely going to be drifting and precision driving that fully upgraded beast around Kaido.

Didn’t expect the return of this track but it’ll hopefully make many players happy.
Curious to see how much creative freedom they put into and how similar it is to the original circuit layout.

Hopefully they keep supporting the game after the May update. I feel like they might be finally gaining momentum.

Theory/speculation: The Full Circuit connects to Hakone

There’s access roads in a few parts of Hakone (Turn 1 and the back straight) that may hint at this.

Might also give Fujimi the pitlane it didn’t have in the old days.

The blog post says Fujimi has 2 layouts, but it doesn’t say Hakone doesn’t get 2 additional layouts

Maybe this could be a Nurburgring/Norsfchleife style relationship where “Hakone Long” is a course that combines Hakone and Fujimi together. Both are near Mt. Fuji

It seems the game design for this installment requires all tracks to have a pitlane (it’d explain why we’ve lost so many short layouts of existing tracks from FM7) so I believe this theory of connection between the Fujimi Kaido and Hakone to be true

All fun and games but where’s the Creative Hub? :sad_but_relieved_face:

First Screenshot of the track looks absolutely :fire: tho!

Happy to see the track back in FM. :+1:
Can´t wait to get back on the mountain pass.
I hope memories from FM 3 & FM 4 will come back when i start drifting down the mountain :head_shaking_horizontally:

Thank you for a proper drift track! We’ve been making due for our Drift Kings series, but the rotation of Grand Oak, Hakone, Suzuka and Maple Valley is getting old.

At this point, if you fix even a single deformed model then this will be my top 1 update.

Great to see this, hopefully after the release of this track you can maybe focus on putting more Layouts in the game, for various Tracks?
