Predictions for New Tracks in 2025?

So with Bathurst coming in December, the remaining real tracks in FM7 are:

  • Long Beach (I desperately hope this is next. We need street circuits)
  • Sonoma (this tracks is seriously missed. So technical, diverse, with great variations)
  • COTA (meh)
  • Monza (I hope this is skipped. Monza produces nothing but pile ups in wvery game it is included in)

Are we going to continue to only get a new track every 2 months? Sooner or later we’re going to have to get some properly new tracks to the franchise.

I hope for Sonoma and Monza very soon, after that lots and lots of city tracks.

The people that can answer that question won’t in this thread.
Turn 10 don’t comment on stuff like this outside of official announcements.

Anyways, files and comments in the game’s download (from a few updates ago) hint at the following being the next three. This isn’t confirmation, but I would be surprised if a track not mentioned in this list appears in the game before these three do:

  • Bathurst (released, December 2024)
  • Long Beach

  • Red Bull Ring

I am interested to see how Cota feels with FM23’s physics. IMO FM7’s Yas Marina was just as detestable as COTA due to how slidy the game was. Its better in FM23, so perhaps the same will happen to COTA?

Let’s be honest, these tracks won’t add much value to the game. Especially American ones. However I’m certain Fujimi Kaido will make many players come back. Not to mention all the YouTube content it will generate, further making the game more popular.

On a more realistic note, there are still some layouts missing for currently available tracks that would be perfect for drift lobbies - Barcelona-Catalunya and Yas Marina from the top of my head

So don’t add tracks at all unless they are massive draws on Youtube content.

Got it.

I’m betting on Kaido. Especially with the nostalgia Peninsula brought back, I really want to see all the FM 1-4 fantasy tracks returning. Ultimately, they will get more players. Win-win.

I’d love some street circuits.

Macau

I’ll be more than happy having those circuits.

If they put Macau in this game it’d become Forza Macau Sport for me. FRR would see spikes like never before too.

But what about fictional tracks, I remember the city tracks Codemasters made for a previous GRiD game and they were amazing… Remember the city tracks in PGR? That may be too old for most here.

It would be challenging and fun, but yeah, people won’t definitely respect each other’s space going through those tight sections.

I’d love it too

I’ve only played the Grid game available in gamepass, didn’t play it that much.

That’s not what he meant but okay lol

I’ve been saying the same thing and it’s the second highest voted map too

I expect Tsukuba because it’s small and it might pair well with the new drift mode.

Regarding street circuits and Macau… Didn’t PGR have Macau? I miss PGR. Gank a bunch of PGR circuits.

Wait. Hold up. Monza produces pile-ups but Long Beach doesn’t? I’ve never had a race at Long Beach where turn 1 through at least the tight loop around the fountain doesn’t result in nearly every car mangled together.

Not to mention the pit exit, if you can, again, cross the white line and rejoin early while others go all the way to the right to open up turn 1 it’s gonna be a massacre. The pit exit has to be a 5s penalty for track limits. Maybe T10 will have to go full Mid Ohio and build a wall

PGR4 I think has Macau and RIDE 5 has it, it’s amazing on bikes too.

I think there needs to be a bit of realistic expectations with a thread like this or it will just end up as a wishlist.

First thing, they havent charged extra for any track, which means theyre not gonna go crazy. Second, going by this past year every track this game has received has been a recycled track. Odds are we will likely see this trend continue, so that means Sonoma, Long Beach, Monza and Cota will likely be added. These tracks also have relatively accurate models as theyve all been added or redone after fm5.

Tsukuba is a great little track, it also works for drifting and id love to see Twin Ring Motegi added back. But these tracks are not particularly easy to license, whether monetarily or whatever other reason, they are not likely to be added.

Fujimi Kaido has obviously been highly requested since it disappeared after fm4. I dont think a real reason has ever been given by turn 10. This past year, afaik it has still never been mentioned by them even with the suggestion hub votes it has. So it likely won’t make it into the game.

Two tracks they have mentioned were Portimao and Sao Paulo. I personally dont think both will make it into the game, but i think one of these will. If one of them will make it in the game this year, that decision would have already been made by now.

I think it will be Portimao as that was specifically mentioned by Chris Esaki and he wanted people to vote for it. I think this was done so when the track is added it looks like the votes had something to do with it.

That is VERY much a matter of opinion.
