I’d like to have back the option to start and rev engine in a car in the ForzaVista mode, just like in any other Forza title.
it’s not a true sim without this feature PC1 & 2 & ACC has this option

In horizon it allows you to start the car in rev it in the garage. Why is that not in motorsport? They are part of the same company. Share! Its not just the garage noise. There’s so much more that can be shared between titles.

The only thing they really share is the game engine and car models. FM and FH are two different game series from two different developer studios.
Keep in mind FM now uses a different engine than FH5 and therefore they have to change a bunch of code even if they copy features from one game to the other.
I’d really wished they implemented more features into the Forza Vista Mode too.
Yes, but car models are mostly the same, they even share camera angles in ForzaVista (and numerous issues related to them), so removing ForzaVista features available in Forza Horizon 5 doesn’t seem justified 
(And to think that once I perceived Forza Motorsport as the game Forza Horizon should take example from in terms of available ForzaVista features…)

I’m just guessing, but perhaps they removed this feature as most of the cars doesn’t sound like they should?

The ability to start and rev the engine would make it easier to tell which exhaust I want or which cam I want from mild to wild… of course to we need the sound in the game to match these parts…
