In the beginnig, I gained one wheelspin when I leveled up. I could press “X” by using gamepad or press “Enter” by using keyboard. Furthermore, I can accumulate and use many wheelspins later.
Recently, I didn’t gain the wheelspin when I leveled up. I have see the wheelspin on the screen. But I haven’t seen the “X” character before the wheelspin. So it didn’t work when I press “X” by using gamepad or press “Enter” by using keyboard. I leveled up about ten ranks but I gained nothing. No wheelspins. I didn’t know what happened. I googled the solutions and used reddit. I still have no idea how to solve the proble.
Anybody can help me. Tell me how to solve the proble. I need to reinstall the Forza Horizon 5 or do other actions. Thank.
If you earn enough experience to level up during a race, then you’ll automatically get the wheelspin at the end of the race. Once you get back to freeroam, you’ll still see the wheelspin notification onscreen, but it won’t give you a prompt to hit X/Enter because you’ve already redeemed that wheelspin. That’s probably what happened in this case.

It was still odd. Recently, I have got the wheelspin at the end of race. But I couldn’t redeemed by press “X” button or “Enter” key. I got back to freeroam. There is no any wheelspin. 
However, It was well in the middle of May. I gained wheelspins and leveled up by attending forza Horizon5 opening race. I gained wheelspins at the end of the race. I attented many opening race continuously and I didn’t get bact to freeroam. So I leveled up about several ranks and saw several wheelspins. Even though I got back to freeroam, I could accumulate several wheelspins. I could redeemed wheelspins.

Last night, I viewed the process and summarized my experiences in the Forza horizon 5. When you leveled up during a race, it seemed that there were two scenarios.
Under the first scenario, you got and redeemed the wheelspin automatically at the end of the race. You got back to freeroam or attened the next race. You could see the wheelspin notification onscreen, but there was no “X” character before the wheelspin. You couldn’t press “X” button or “Enter” key. You have already redeemed the wheelspin.
Under the second scenario, you gained the wheelspin after you got back to freeroam or attened the next race. You could see the wheelspin notification onscreen. There was “X” character before the wheelspin. You could redeem by pressing “X” button or “Enter”. Regarding another option, You could accumulate and use many wheelspins later.
The first scenario and the second scenario were similar. You got the wheelspin when you leveled up. More often that not, I met the second scenario in the past. Now, I usually meet the first scenario
