Please read below for guidance on which type of topics should be posted in the Suggestions Hub Car Modeling category.
In general, the Forza Forums are divided into three sections where the Forza team is monitoring feedback on Forza Motorsport game content:
Motorsport Troubleshooting for issues where the game isn’t functioning as designed (bugs)
Forza Motorsport (2023) Discussion for feedback about current content
Suggestions Hub for requesting new features or changes to existing content
Within the Suggestions Hub, these categories cover requests related to cars:
Car Voting - FM for requesting cars that are not in the game
Car Features for requesting features that would affect all cars
Car Modeling for requesting changes to specific car models that are in the game
Each category uses tags applied to topics to help filter related request types. The table below compares the types of topics and tags used in the Car Modeling category, with a comparison for topics that should be reported in the Troubleshooting Hub. Dividing topics this way will help the Forza team in managing bug fix requests vs car modeling accuracy updates.
Car Modeling tags | Car Modeling topics (SHUB) | Troubleshooting Hub topics (not SHUB) |
---|---|---|
fm-Car-Animations | Forzavista, cockpit animation | active aero not functioning |
fm-Car-Audio | audio mix, Forza car sounds vs real life | missing car sounds, static etc |
fm-Car-Cameras | cockpit alignment per car | bugs in camera views |
fm-Car-Upgrades | engine and aero options | (use Branded Car Parts for aftermarket items) |
fm-Car-Lights | lights on or off, hue, lumens | mismatched lights |
fm-Car-Modeling | Forza body panels and badges vs real life | graphics bugs, panels not aligning, clipping, see-through, parts missing |
fm-Car-Painting | paintable surfaces | livery sections not aligning |
fm-Car-Performance | Forza handling and specs vs real life | malfunctions with handling, performance, physics |

We may move topics from Car Modeling to the Troubleshooting Hub or vice versa after reviewing the description in the topic.
When creating a topic in Car Modeling, follow these steps:
- English only. See also the Forza Forums Conduct and Rules
- One car model per topic.
- One issue type per topic from the table above. This will mean there will be separate topics on the same model (one for audio, one for body modeling, etc).
- Only car models that are in the game.
- Name the topic with the format [Make Model Year] - [request matching the tag you choose] without brackets. For example “Dodge Challenger '15 - engine audio”
- Provide written detail in addition to images or clips to help voters and the Forza team easily understand what the request is - please do not assume what you’re seeing in an image is obvious to someone else… If you are requesting engine audio accuracy, identify the source you are using to compare Forza’s sound, etc.
- Remember to upvote your own topic so your vote is counted
HOW WE APPROACH VOTE COUNT PRIORITY
The SHUB and THUB voting areas are one of the methods the Forza team uses to determine which bugs and features are addressed first - but not the only factor. Our top priority is to act on functional issues, with consideration of the number of players affected. However, requests cannot necessarily be resolved in order of vote count due to other factors such as intellectual property, game design, resources, and risk to affecting other game features. These factors also impact the time to review, plan, test, and act on requests, which may result in lower-voted requests being addressed before top-voted requests.
Focusing on the top voted items means the team may consider some items to be too low in prioritization or having too little information to reproduce. In those cases we may move topics to the SHUB’s Previously Considered Suggestions or THUB’s Motorsport Troubleshooting section. We may also close topics that are addressed by recent content updates to make sure we have the most reliable information directly related to the current state of the game. These steps will help the Forza team deliver the best experience for everyone.
Thank you for your feedback!
