We really need to review the multiplayer penalty system, it’s rubbish, it’s annoying, it doesn’t make you want to go back, multiplayer risks emptying itself of good players.
I start 2nd, I’m hit on purpose, the guy takes 0 in penalties, I find myself at the bottom of the ranking, I try to move up, I avoid colliding with a lagging player so as not to eject him and get caught a possible penalty…great! I take a 2.5 second penalty for having avoided it by putting two wheels in the grass…
Where is the fairness? Might as well get into him like the others do? We get hit, they don’t have anything, we’re playing fair, it’s for our heads.

Il faut vraiment revoir le système de pénalités en multi, c’est du grand n’importe quoi, c’est rageant, ça ne donne pas envie d’y retourner, le multi risque de se vider des bons joueurs.
Je pars 2ème, on me percute exprès, le mec prend 0 en pénalités moi je me retrouve au fond du classement, j’essaie de remonter, j’évite la collision avec un joueur à la traîne pour ne pas l’éjecter et me prendre une éventuelle pénalité…super ! Je me prend 2,5 seconde de pénalité pour l’avoir évité en mettant 2 roue dans l’herbe…où est l’équité ?
Autant lui rentrer dedans comme font les autres ? On se fait defoncer, ils ont rien, on joue fair-play c’est pour notre tête.

They want a game clip and a report filed online through the website to even look into it. Getting the 10 races at s saftey rating is going to bsle tough. Managed 6 but havnt got close again.

I’ve been S ranked safety for 20+ races. All was fine till it wasn’t.
Before the update the other day I was stuck behind two players who were fighting, side swiping and just being aggressive to each other, was lap 7/8 and I was on softs from mediums. The two players had not pitted yet.
Up the inside pushed to the grass I cook by. It’s Suzuka on the back straight. 0.5 no biggie. Full send around the small left kink. I’m just trying to get away.
Down to chicane the main player who’s causing mayhem cuts it getting him 11.5 pen total now. Pass the line he spears me as I’m making my right. Do a sweet roll.
My S rank is gone. I’m now in A. And it’s even worse.
I’m rammed and used as a bumper sending me into others. I drive on hood and will hold my line in turns. The arrows offer zero assistance when you’re sandwiched front back left right and they’re 10 players just doing whatever.
I start in back now. Let mid pack kill each other. Place around 8-10th. Whatever it takes to avoid carnage.
Don’t care about penalties what I care about more is losing safety ratings over things I can’t control… like it’s somehow my fault

Very similar experience. It seems way too often my rear bumper is the guys behind me brake pedal. They need to massively increase penalties, especially front bumper heavy hits to like 10 seconds to get these idiots to stop.

Similar story here, was S rated and a few games were going fine, until I got rammed from behind and sent into the grass, 2 second penalty for leaving the track.
I managed to catch up, get into 4th, then as I’m turning through a fairly long right, someone full send it right up the inside with no chance of making the turn, I accidently hit them as I didn’t expect the full send on a fairly tight turn and I get a penalty and my rating drops from S to A.
What’s worse, is checking the result afterwards, the guy who rammed me off course at the start didn’t get a penalty and finished 2nd.
A similar thing just happened, hit off track and get a 0.5 second penalty, get rammed by one car into another on a straight and my penalty goes up to 0.7 seconds.
The game doesn’t seem to realise when you’re trying to drive safe but other drivers are ramming you it’s impossible. I got a penalty for being hit by a car, spinning out of control and hitting another car mid spin with the message that it could have been avoided - how when I’m spinning?!
My first featuered mp race event was a mess. I got a 1.3 second penalty for someone crashing into me. I ended up driving around people one by one throughout the race and nabbed 2nd. I wish there was a way to get in a clean lobby.
yeah exactly my experience, unavoidable contact = 2+ sec penalty, sent to the shadow realm on purpose = no penalty. And even worse, I’ve seen someone sending someone else to the shadow realm right in front of me, with no penalty, the dude “brake checks” me, and I get 2.5 sec penalty with the slightest bumper tap. It felt like I inherited the penalty somehow.
