Questions before purchase regarding VIP and CarPass

I recently purchased two xbox one’s for myself and my son. I have one xbox gold membership that is under my son’s account. I created an account for myself under his account.
I first purchased the digital download of Forza 5. We can both play under our designated xbox accounts.
So I purchased VIP for Forza 5. Unfortunately only one of our accounts gets the benefit of this.

So my question is, if I purchase the full Forza 2 digital package with VIP and CarPass, will I run into the same issue? I would think for $100 we could both benefit from the content.
If not, can I purchase another xbox gold account for myself to get the content?

The main problem is that you are playing on two different consoles. If you used one console, one Gold membership could be shared between the two profiles and, in turn, the Car Pass could be used by you and your son. The VIP Pass, however, is explicitly reserved for one profile and associated benefits cannot be shared between users … although, the vehicles would be accessible to the non-VIP member if your profile was on the same console as your son’s membership holding profile.

Essentially, the key is having one Xbox One where the two of you could share a Gold membership; otherwise, any content you buy under your profile will be relegated to the console you are on.

I think this might actually be a problem of Gold sharing, and for as many times as I’ve seen this issue come up this is the first time I recall seeing it presented this way.
It sounds like there’s 1 Gold and 1 non-Gold account; the non-Gold account purchased the DLC, and the Gold account can’t buy the DLC cars in game without being prompted to purchase the DLC, is that right? If that’s so, it may not help to have both accounts on the same console. As I understand it, shared DLC access can only be extended from a DLC owner with Gold status. In that case, the way to handle a Gold + non-Gold relationship is to have the Gold account do all the DLC purchasing. If the non-Gold wants to be the one to own the FH2 DLC and share it to the current Gold account, then you’re going to have to also buy XBL Gold on the FH2 account.

From there you then still have to deal with the issues multi-consoles, and the non-sharable benefits.

I just have a question if you guys can help. What is the difference between the vip membership and car pass what are the benefits and do we the the same cars or it’s 2 different things?
