Problems with "sharing designs"

Hi, I’m new to both the game and this forum, so this might be the wrong topic, but yeah…

Anyway, I have two issues regarding the “sharing paintjobs” thing.

*First of all, I made a paintjob for my Audi RS2 which I’m really happy about (you can check it out if you want), and I decided to share it right after I was done. After some hours I looked in “My Designs” and saw that someone had downloaded the paintjob (yay). Then I decided to change the paintjob a bit by putting some new stickers on it… But later, when I checked “My Designs” again, I discovered the new paintjob had replaced the old one I shared, and now I can’t view the shared one at all (it has dissapeard). This means I can’t see how many people that have downloaded/liked it and stuff. People can still download the shared design in the shop tho.
All this means that I never saved it to “My Designs”, but what can I do now? Also I can’t “unshare” it either.

*Second issue; I downloaded a “shared sticker” (or whatever it’s called) to my E63 that locked the design. Later I decided to make a paintjob that I wanted to share, so I thought if I delete the “shared sticker”, my paintjob will get unlocked. Apparently not because now I can’t share my paintjob…

If you make changes to a shared design and don’t want to get rid of the older one, be careful when saving it. It must have a different file name, and it must be saved as a new file - do not highlight the old file when saving and replace it. It ought to even pop up with a message stating “You are saving over a shared file. By choosing to save this file your old paintjob will be unshared. You will no longer receive credits from people using this paintjob. Are you sure you wish to do so?” Save the file in the blank spot with an arrow - not over a pre-existing picture.

As for your second issue, you are right. If you remove any locked stickers then your design should again become shareable. Just make sure you remove ALL the locked stickers and not just the ones on one side or one section of the car.
