Am I the only one that feels the 2k, 5k & 7k should be removed from the equation of the bought prize spins? I’ve bought quite a few spins and probably 7 out of 10 of them are one of the 2 lowest denominations you can win. It’s all well and good when you get the level up spins but the ones that cost 50k each should atleast have a higher chance of getting something of worth back
The 50k spins are not meant to be rewarding credit-wise. If those spins were actually rewarding, you could keep spinning non-stop and make it a perpetual profit machine, as proven back when PC could sell duplicate Horizon Edition cars for 5 mil.
As stated above, the purchased spins are meant to carry more risk. This is why the VIP bonus does not apply.
If you’re really lucky, you can make some money in a short period of time by earning 75k, 100k, and expensive duplicate cars like the trophy truck which can be sold back for 300k. Inevitably though, you will lose money with this method, which is by design.
Admittedly, as much as it can be annoying getting a 2,5 or 7k spin - and how disproportionate they are to the value of upgrades and cars - credits in this game are more of a grind to get, and thus more rewarding when you do get serious amounts of money.
Fh2 was massively oversaturated with credits, I remember pretty much swimming in them after my first race, and from there on. However this time I’ve had to be more conservative with credits, and more tactical in my spending. I’d say keep the low value spins in there, in the grand scheme of it, with the amount of cars and higher value prizes in the spin, odds on getting a low value prize should be fairly low.
I’m not sure if the game rule changed, I can only get one level up spin no matter how many level I increased. just finish one lap goliath, got 3 levels but no extra spin banked.
You’ll only use one spin at the end of the race, but if you go to the progress tab in the start menu you can use your other spins that you haven’t used yet.
On each level up the requirements to level up increase.
I am level 500+ (can’t remember exactly lol) and 1 lap goliath now only levels me up once. But if I did it at level 200 it levelled me up a few more times.
I’ve been thinking about this, now that I’m getting near the Level-400 mark. I think those low prizes should be removed from the level-up spins. These are supposed to give you a suitable reward for gaining a level. While what you get should random, it should be valuable enough for gaining a level. 10K minimum seems fair.
Now gambling spins, where you pay credits to try out your luck, should keep those 3 low prizes. Gambling involves the possibility of loss.
Took 25 spins at a time yesterday and only one of the 25 was 100k. The rest were below 30k and crappy vehicles. Not a single Horizon edition vehicle, not a single decent vehicle, nothing over 30k except for the one time.
The sub 10k’s are essentially “no wins” except you get at least something out of them. Spins are like a lottery and supposed to work exactly like they do.
Yesterday l won a 22b Subaru which wasn’t the Horizon Edition even though those HE 22b’s just got added into the prize pool. Unfortunate for me but completely acceptable.
I for one enjoy the challenge of actually deciding what car I would like to have in the future and then saving for it. It brings more out of the cars for me when I feel like I have done something of a challenge to be able to buy it. (call it grindy if you will, I will not, games are not to be meant grindy IMO, if it feels like it, I will do something else)
Thats why I think the prize spins are quite alright. Just my 2 cents.
I spun a HE credit lambo yesterday omg how sweet was this it was about 30 plus
spins later but it was rewarding. In real life when you play a spinning wheel game
it never drops on the spin I need lol.
