Possible Way to solve wreckers

Option 1
Have Contact set to minimum and have it in different tiers so that if they ram at Over 75MPH+ its an instant DQ, 50MPH or below is a drive through penalty. If you don’t take the penalty will class as a DQ. If you Gather more than 10 DQs in one day, you get bad sport.

Option 2
For every bit of damage that is done to someone elses car Via Smashing into will come out of the persons winnings, this will be estimated as if in Visual rather than Simulation, Parts/Penalty Deductions will be estimated of value depending on force of impact

Option 3
Rolling Starts
Almost all races have people with either slow accelerating cars or people who are AFC. Rolling starts would prevent people from launching into the person in front as quick hopefully reducing the chances of a spinout and blocking the track

Option 4
Championship mode-10 races with realistic damage on, If car gets damaged only way to repair is in pits. damage sustained carries through until last race.

Or why not just get everybody to report the wreckers for unsportsmanlike conduct along with an added comment ie : Deliberate Wrecking, after all is that not why we have the capability to make such reports. If everybody actually did report wreckers, hackers and modder’s Turn 10 would have no choice but take all necessary actions or face a massive backlash here on the forums REPORT THEM ALL then nobody at Turn 10 will have an option other than to ban them or reduce them to racing in lobbies against other wreckers and noobs. Shimplesh.

I’ve blocked and reported people to the point where I couldnt find a room. There just too many. There’s absolutely nothing to deter people from wrecking.

Everyone should join a new lobby as a ghost. The only way to cease being a ghost is to finish a race without a DNF (a low bar if you have the advantage of being a ghost).

Any subsequent DNF and you revert to ghosting again until you’ve re-earned the right to race properly.

The problem is that not all crashes are at high speed. More often than not after the initial smash a griefer will wait to get lapped and start blocking other players at low speed.

Additionally, not all crashes are from behind. What will the system do in a scenario where a driver is ahead and brake-checks, or is just ahead and gradually slows up so that they’re forcing the car behind to slow down with them, like a train coming to a stop?

One more point of contention is when there’s a genuine accident ahead and you have no time to avoid it. Do you get disqualified simply because you couldn’t avoid a high speed accident?

Finally, if 50mph is the speed at which a player gets penalised, what’s stopping somebody causing trouble at 45mph?

Crashers don’t really care about winnings, and with CR rewards so abundant in this game I doubt they’d notice. I’ve done hundreds of races online and can’t tell you off the top of my head how much CR I get after a race. It’s just a screen I skip as fast as possible to get back to the lobby.

Rolling starts would be a good thing to have in general; I’m amazed that Turn 10 haven’t implemented them over the past 10 years.

Crasher joins, crashes, quits, and then joins a different Class/Hopper.

Here comes the counter, how does the system actually differentiate between the crasher and the victim?

Why doesnt T10 use moderators? They use them on this forum, so why not in their games?

You have a Private Message on these forums.

Yes, I know that, I’ve used it multiple times. My question is why arent there (more) people ‘out there’ to weed out those that only seem to buy these games just to ruin others race?
Have a more active crashteam, most people dont even know there is one (see http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst53574_Got-a-good-question.aspx).

Have a “more active” crashteam? Some of us already give freely of our time and have for more than eight years, and all we see are lots of complainers with big talk, and no responses from them when supplied the structure to join in. There is a method, and it works.

It works for individual cases, not for the big picture. Not saying the members of the crashteam are doing their work wrong. I really do appreciate your work. Thank you for that. What I mean is that there are a lot of people playing Forza for years dont even know it exists. Maybe make the report option in-game, as it was in Forza 4. Or display it on a loading screen between races.

Moderators are volunteers.

You know you can be a ‘moderator’ on the game if you really wish, every time you encounter a crasher online purposely trying to hit you, save the reply/gameclip upload it or get the link and pass it onto T10 or moderators.

Very easy to stop wreckers…Do like iracing does.Off track, cutting corners, hitting people, automatic slow down for predetermined time.Every infraction equals a predetermined number, once you hit the top number limit you are dq from race.So for instance hit two people you are done…Yeah incedentals happen but if everyone knew the rules then its less likely to happen…Works very well in iracing.I have great races in that sim everyday. But lets be real, none of these recommendations will ever be implemented… I dont even think its on turn tens radar

Why would it be? They already have your money.

The crashteam is still active? I didn’t even know.

You would be surprised what goes on without fanfare in the background. Check your PMs.

In FIA certified F1 2015, which is a great game with excellent tire to tarmac physics second only to FM6, you are warned, penalized and ejected from the game automatically if your driving is too aggressive. Perhaps a solution like this is needed. But then folks will complain about that too. But one factor has been to considered is that this game is a famous boy toy, and by that I mean there are a lot of immature, young kids playing the game that cannot drive and don’t fully understand the physics model and therefore engage in kamikaze driving. Leagues have been the issue to that solution, but then that too has it’s own exploits as well. Oh well…

How many crashers has the crash team taken care of would you estimate?

I reckon for most people it’s easier to just find a different lobby than report a person they may never get matchmaked against again.

Are you sitting down?

11,682 to date, including FM4, FM5, FM6, Horizon, Horizon 2 (360) and Horizon 2 (Xbox One).

As I said, there is a LOT more going on behind the scenes than one might know.

Are most of those players found via private reports (PMs to Moderators) or does that also include Xbox Live’s “Report Gamertag” option?
