Minority opinion here. Didn’t care for this update at all. Would have rather preferred more road cars from Motorsport that, for whatever reason, haven’t made it into Horizon. There’s quite a lot of them to be added still.

Taking it personally, I loved the series, I really like track cars and always will, so this series with me has a 10, however, taking it on the critical side, the series was extremely weak in content, apart from the promise of new events, which in the end, never arrived (I hope they don’t do it again in the 35 series), the car package and the series as a whole, Only recycled cars from Motorsport came, even in the car package, which we usually pay for cars totally unreleased in the franchise Forza, and in this case, we paid 10 dollars or 50 reais to receive recycled cars that are not that good, one thing I liked was the new types of drag car, thus opening up many possibilities of several cars coming to the game, in short, taking it to the critical and not personal side, this series has a beautiful 5/10 well given, See you later!

I think it was just a trial to see how it will go…as the community play the game thinking as car gta…so maybe out of confusion they only added the cars already published before…n thats why the price was 5$ for almost 1st 12 hours…maybe now they know there’re a lot of people who want to have proper race cars in horizon…btw glad u loved it mate!! May we have more…

Just wanted to mention that the daily challenge regarding horizon arcade rejuvenated arcades for a number of days, and I really enjoyed playing them with more than 1 other person playing it with me.
Imagine if arcades were always this populated. Maybe include an arcade daily challenge every week in the playlist.
I love the arcade theme, but they’re so dead. Forzathon live is still infinitely more populated.

This car pack was pure scam. It doesn’t matter that these cars are “new-to-Horizon” or whatever else, half of them were free content in a game already and the others you pay for twice. Better yet, this is the 8th Car Pack which is not included in the FH5 Premium Edition that already costs $100! Furthermore, the total cost of all Car Packs is now equal to the price of the base game, a whopping $60! Just because $60 may be nothing so one person, it is a fortune to another. I’m sure that someone who has spent $100 on a pre-order of FH5’s top edition, only to be disappointed with the base game itself, will truly feel lied to upon seeing the price of getting just 50 cars in order to have the full game, which they have already paid for! All car packs should be included with the top edition of the game, and if not that then at least there should be a bundle that combines them all at a lower price.

As for other content, everything outside of the reward cars was simply boring, as always really. We’ve had this format since 2019, it’s bound to get boring to at least some people. Especially when the Playlist Event reward cars are taken straight from the Autoshow. Come on, you knew that in Horizon 4 letting players obtain rare cars would incentivize them to complete Playlist Championships, but now there’s none of that. And don’t forget the sheer amount of cars that were available in Horizon 4’s Autoshow which you took away from launch, had us wait months or even years to get them back, only to have them shoved into the Playlist for 20 Points as if they were brand new additions to the series. You didn’t even fix their models! At least now you’ve been doing it less, because recently most recycled cars didn’t appear in Horizon 4. But the space for more past Playlist exclusives is literally in the playlist. The economy of FH5 can’t get more broken than it currently is, allowing us to get those FH4 Autoshow cars through the playlist will do no harm.

I liked the update but it fell short in a couple of areas. The car pack was a bit underwhelming compared to FH3’s Motorsport All Stars car pack. With the Ford Racing GT Le Mans being in the playlist it’s a shame that cars like the Audi R8 LMS Ultra, Motul Autech GT-R and SRT Viper GTS-R that were in the FH3 Motorsport All Stars car pack didn’t return. The race cars themselves also have pretty limited upgrade options, particularly the time attack Evo.

Perhaps the update may have been better received had a car like the highly voted Bugatti Bollide been in the update.

Edit: Just to add, the Camaro Prostock was a nice surprise, though the lack of new mechanics for drag racing is felt more than ever.

Just an idea. You know something that’s never been utilized in the festival playlist? Custom player-made playground games maps.

Or you could create a new evolving world arena/revamp a current one and put it in the festival playlist. This way you can bring more players to enjoy the new evolving world + it will serve an actual gameplay purpose as oppose to just sitting there.

Last year we had a summer-themed evolving world update on the stadium. Just imagine turning that into a playground games event.

@robotiChart yeah…totally single player it’d be. n there might be some kind of a limiter when placing props which might show the vram uses so that the game won’t crash.

No. It’s about using player-made eventlabs as new locations for playground games. Or using the evolving world areas and turning them into a playground games event for the festival playlist. Similarly to how they did with the oval racetrack and the ice ring circuit. I’ll see if i can write it properly into a suggestion.
