Reading the polls as of today, I’m glad we all have our priorities straight. We want to know if the core gameplay has improved drastically, if the driving will feel better, and if the progression and updates are engaging enough for us to stay. And, as proven, we care little about fancy graphics, which is what they’ve been leaning to so far.
I’d like to see improvements specifically in two areas in today’s gameplay: car physics and interior view immersion (i.e. new features such as, perhaps, 900 degree wheel rotation, seat adjustment, FoV setting)
What I am most interested in knowing is the compatibility with wheels and the physics / gameplay. The physics of Forza 7 are quite mediocre, to the point that playing with a wheel is a horrible feeling. In that aspect they should learn a little from the competition.
I voted A.I.
I know in the showing yesterday they said the AI would not use cheats and could keep up with the fastest drivers but I’ll have to see it to believe it. On another note, I am happy the Mid Ohio raceway is going to be in the game.
For me? Physics and car models. One directly impacts the gameplay for everyone and shows if the game was made with driving and racing in mind or not, the other directly impacts the entire game for me and shows if the game is actually new or not, plus it’s time to finally get up to other game franchises that have managed to futureproof their 3D models. Either way, horribly driving but well made cars will only make this game a photo salon, and even I don’t want that.
