You can also tell why you play on a specific platform. Comments are welcome, do and say what you want.

I play on PC because it’s not a console, because I can upgrade it, because it has the highest graphics quality, because I can mod games etc.

IMO every game should be available on Steam. I also wish GT7 would be available on Steam, they (Polyphony Digital) would earn millions of dollars. They are sitting on a goldmine.

I played pc for decades but stopped gaming for many years due to the state of gaming being depressing/disappointing.

Then when getting back into it i wanted to put more of my budget to tv/ audio quality because I’m a big movie/show aficionado so just went with a 400$ xbx with that knowledge. Was always a Forza fan so when i saw the new game was releasing i went for it.

It’s great but i have to admit, FPS games on controller are brutal. One thing i do like about console is it just is much more stable. There’s basically zero troubleshooting, but on the other hand when something DOESN’T work, there’s nothing you can do.

Graphics lack but it’s about as powerful as my last gaming pc besides the cpu so im happy graphically speaking. Gamepass has been excellent and has made the whole “pay extra to play multiplayer” aspect of console gaming go down much, much easier.

You could also use Gamepass on PC just sayin. I am a PC player and would never think about using GP, but others do.

If I wanted to, I could even stream the games via Nvidia. If I had good internet that would be cool, but I only have 50 mbits down and 10 up. So no streaming gaming for me.

I tried it out twice, once in Fallout 3 and in Watchdogs Legion. The performance I personally had was better than what the streaming service could offer. But now with 40xx series and soon 50xx series that might be different.

How much do you pay for that speed? I get 300 u/d for 25$

Series S.

I have a gaming PC, but about the time it needed an upgrade GPU prices were at a point I refused to pay. So it now just serves as a backup PC, if ever needed.

Chose Series S because performance didn’t look bad, over all It’s easily double performance of my old PC. Instead of Series X, I spent the extra $300 on a wheel setup for Forza Motorsport (at that point was still 3 months before launch).

Got no regrets on the Series S. Handles Starfield and Avatar great (IMO).

Forza single player campaign just isn’t what I hoped. Some good real time lighting. Some good driving and car handling, in general. But just a thin experience. So I bought a PS5 too, and GT7.

:man_shrugging:

FM8 was the best piece of free advertising that Sony could have dreamed for, I bet they are still laughing about it.

None of the above, I’m playing on a Xbox one via cloud gaming.

Same here, xbox one s. Gamepass. Add that option to the poll. You might be surprised at the numbers.

When the funds happen or the price drops I’m outtahere too!

If this game has only released on PC only it would have been much better graphically I’m sure. But since it is and always has been a console first game we PC enthusiasts get shafted as per usual. I own a SeriesX as well as a decent gaming rig and I think it looks pretty slick for a console game, but sacrifices were made.

I’ve played on PC with Game Pass. I just bought the Premium/VIP Expansion wich was a big mistake… I wish I had never bought it.

But I’ve never had bought FM 2023 so I still saved a lot of money.

I play on PC because I can run multi-monitor, can use any wheel, pedal and shifter combo, and because of the selection of other racing titles that take better advantage of my setup.

I’m waiting to see what the PS5 Pro is like and look at the VR side of things

Could have made a bigger mistake… like I did and paid full price for the standard just after the 30 percent off thinking it won’t go on special again for a while…

Two weeks later it was 50 percent off, then again and now just mere days after it went back to full price it’s 50 off again!

They should just leave it at half price cause that’s still asking a lot

PC players should all be paid to play the game - we are all un-paid beta testers.
When we submit a problem to the forum - they have us chop the problem up into bite-size single issue posts - because that is their bug fixing platform.

Not only are we beta testers - they can’t even be arsed to give us a proper bug reporting feature so we have to navigate the forums and its obliquely moderated, unevenly implemented arbitrary rules.

Yeah they really ask you to undertake some ridiculous tasks even when you know it’s a them issue because before the update or hotfix it worked completely fine.

I think they ask for so much as a way to scare anyone off opening a ticket

Exactly, why they don’t have a crash reporter like most other games is just another reason I think they are incompetent on many levels. After you open a ticket they point you to download one, why is this on the customer to do?, why isn’t it built in to the game from the ground up!

This is by far the messiest official forum I’ve ever come across. The Troubleshooting hub is run like a chook raffle where you have to vote (and need a lot of votes) to say Hey I have an issue

Why there’s not some main topics that are pinned at the start of the hub that don’t get pushed down the page (See Steam) just shows how unorganised it is, plus the filter they have running on this forum is laughable, it’s almost impossible to have a proper conversation without upsetting the filtering choices that have been added, it’s like being on a playschool forum.

I pay 45€ for telephone and internet a month. It’s pathetic, Germany is a 3rd world country if it’s about internet.

Others get 1 gigabit for the same price also in Germany, down the street ppl have 400 mbit or something, it’s totally annoying.

Doesn’t matter how good your internet is, the game will still CTD

Down the street? Wow , is the street an 11 mile dirt country road? Or are you just that unlucky haha
