As I’ve said many times, participation does not equal enjoyment but it’s impossible to gauge those metrics. For example, I played the eliminator long enough to get the achievements in fh4 and then stopped. I’m playing it more now because it’s in every playlist. Am i suddenly enjoying it more in this game? Sadly, no.
It feels like you can’t skip anything in the playlist because if a few things are broken throughout the seasons, you could miss out on the second series reward.
If it wasn´t for the achievement I wouldn’t care. I’m actually already done with FH5, not exactly sure why, but with all those bugs and it’s development to more and more online parts in the playlist it’s not fun but a burden. And this is not how it should be, right?
This is sad because I was really looking forward to the game after playing FH4 and its DLC’s for almost 500 hrs and FH3 / FH2 for more than 200 hrs each. I will just go back to FH2 und FH3 and grind those open achievements which to me is way more fun than all those bugged online modes that hardly relate to any kind of racing.
FH5 will be the first Forza Game where I’m not willing to buy a single DLC to stay engaged, which is also strange since I own all DLC’s for FH2-FH4 as well as FH6 and FH7.
I personally don’t have any real issues against the online portion of the festival playlist. Correct me if I’m wrong but I reckon you can unlock both rewards each season and for the series while completely ignoring the online tasks (eliminator, trial and playground games)
I’m pretty sure you have to win some online points to get the second seasonal reward. The Trial by itself is enough. Without Trial points, you need to make up for it with a combo of weekly and daily online challenges.
