More weekly challenges/rewards

Since multiplayer is unplayable/unenjoyable due to lack of penalties and terrible racecraft, maybe its worth considering to add more weekly challenges to make endgame more interesting. Something like 2-3 trails instead of one, more car specific championships etc

I should apply to Playground Games. In the 10 minutes I spend in the toilet, I can think of more content than they give us each month. Long-term motivation equals zero

No thanks. I can’t speak for everyone, but for my part, I’m quite content with the current number of weeklys. In fact, I’m quite pleased when I can skip some of them. Especially the trial.

I wouldn’t complain if they were to put them up there as an optional, maybe just with a wheelspin prize or something, so folks like yourself who want that sort of thing can have it, and the rest of us are free to pass. But add more stuff to the playlist, which is already a bit of a chore, I’d rather they didn’t.

It just needs some new ideas that’s all. For example it would be good to be able to make any car a Forza Edition by winning Goliath in it. You win Goliath, and you car gets the extension FE, and then it gets some tuning upgrades.

That’s just one idea, but it just gives you more to do.

I reckon they should make the 3rd star on weekly events and on the Trial as Pro or Unbeatable.

With penalties too.

That way players would actually earn the reward (especially car rewards) through merit and (god forbid) actual teamwork.

Did the Playground games today and quit in the first event as the clock ticked down to 5 seconds.

All of my team (and i mean all bar myself) raced off in flag rush leaving only myself to defend the flag area, fair to say i couldn’t stop 4 to 5 cars coming at me from all directions and they posted like 9 flags. My team mates decided to come back after the 8th flag was posted, by then it was too late.

Next team i went with worked as a team and we won 3 nil.

Some people really have no idea about how to play or race in this game.

Online racing in its current state is (sorry to say) a joke. Cheating to become Grandmasters at quitting or ramming.

The game punishes those who play fair.

I try getting into online racing, but keep going back on it because to increase your rank takes ages. But if you lose then the game decides to takeaway a ton of points, which can sometimes equate to 5 online events where you win.

The whole system needs rethinking… more reason to keep “team” players, playing.

I’ve always believed that the ranking system should be based on “clean racing”, after all the game records this data. Yes coming first gives you an additional reward (team or solo), but base the overall scoring on those who choose not to ram or cheat and drive “cleanly” this would rid the dirty tatics, and would see an increase of online activity, thus increasing playability.

I’ve been pushed, rammed and even tag-teamed by my own team members because I’m winning, because there is little punishments for this behaviour. Damn even the drivatars are getting in on the action now as their aggressive levels have magically increased.

At present, a lot of players avoid online because of the very reasons described, and it’s certainly not fun when others gain advantage playing dirty because they can’t play fairly!

I don’t see how driving a Boneshaker in any online A800 event shows any skills at all…? Another simple solution remove it from being available for online racing, but that’s wishful thinking.

I’d love the day to arrive when a deliberate act of ramming or even nudging (near checkpoints) leads to the offender having a 5 - 10 sec penalty added to their overall lap time (for each offense), that would again clean it up.

There is hundreds of ways to increase the ‘playabilty’ factor, but whilst the act of cheating occurs on rivals, online racing etc, genuine players sit patiently waiting for action to be taken.

I’ve often seen people with Bone Shakers place low, behind people using other cars, several seconds a lap slower than me also using a Bone Shaker. Your insinuation that I have no skills makes me sad

Oh and as for the OP, no thanks, the number of weekly events is fine as it is imo. Though I wouldn’t complain if they were added as OPTIONAL and not in any way shape or form tied to the playlist. (Though that would arguably be pointless because it’s already optional to do any other events you want. And as for prizes, just get some wheelspins by levelling up or whatever and see what you get.)

Personally I think the “Daily Challenges” could do with being looked at and increased substantially.

In the last week, we had:
1 x Great Pass
2 x Great Air
3 x Near Miss
1 x Landscaping
1 x Slingshot
3 x Clean Start
1 x Airborne Pass

Out of all those, the “Airborne Pass” is the only one that is slightly more difficult to achieve.

When these challenges come up as dailies, they should be x10 or more.

Most of them would be achieved with regular driving racing without even trying to complete them specifically and would give those with no interest in online garbage something to do once everything has been completed.

I personally played every day for almost 12 months, but now go days without playing after the weekly festival in completed in a matter of a couple of hours at most.

PG probably only want you to load the game every day that’s all, that’s enough to get people playing it.

The daily challenges is a weird one as the reward is not that great … so you can’t really make them that hard

Maybe have tougher challenges with a greater reward?
I agree most of those would just happen … do a single race series - done

How about 5 barrel rolls for a super wheelspin …
or showoff skills …
stuntman skills - getting trickier

or really ramp it up with things like ebisu style …

You mean like in FH3?
