Please, do a better import of Rally Cars and balance in FH5 MP

For what concern Car Balance

For some reason, cars that do have little to completely nothing to do with Rally Races, are outclassing famous world champion rally cars.

Take for example the Shelby Daytona and Monaco KC, Atomik Punk, Alfa Romeo Tz and 33s, Ford Nova? Mustang? Toyota BAJA!!! Just to name a few… If you don’t believe it, go to the RIVALS leaderboard on each Dirt Track/Circuit, and see by yourself which cars are in the top 100 to 1000. Take it from there, and the results reflect more or less the same in multiplayer while racing vs other players.

Now, someone could argue that these cars aren’t unbeatable, but there is no doubt that they still have an edge compared to Cars that made more or less history in Rally Races.

Let’s take the vintage cars in B and A class

Whether because Vintage Tires has a low cost in PI compared to Dirt Tires, and still better grip than stock tires, this also means that Vintage cars can have higher HP/KW compared to Rally cars in FH4 and better grip as well.

I won’t speak for brands I raced a little, so I’ll take for example Lancia’s cars that I know better, which is also one of the most famous Rally Team that won plenty of World Rally Championship.

Just take both the Delta S4 and Evo, from B to S Class, these cars are NO MATCH vs most cars that race in DIRT on FH4. And I’m speaking of a Car, that from its earlier iterations as the Delta S4, 4WD 8v, integrale 16v, to Evoluzione I - II, that has WON 6 World Rally Championships consecutively. How is it possible that this car is so bad in FH4?

For What Concern Proper Car Import into the Game

Taking again the Delta Evo as an example, the rear STOCK wing in the real car is ADJUSTABLE, why is it not in FH4? If you need rear downforce for a tune, in Fh4 you are forced to use the infamous Forza Wing. And speaking of wings, in some cars where the wing is less wide than the chassis, it never drops from the cars if you crash somewhere. And so, no loss of downforce too.

While if you race for example a Delta once again, with a Forza Rear Wing, each time the back of the car touch a wall, you lose the rear wing. On one side it makes sense, because the wing is wider than the chassis, but still unfair compared to a car that is also with Forza Wing, but not subject to rear wing loss no matter what. And by the way, the stock wing on the Delta is less wide than the chassis as well… just saying!

And last, why is it missing the TWINCHARGER on the S4? On both, stock and swap engine?

FYI I’ll quote Vikipedia Twincharger

For sure there are other things to add here, but these are the few I’m aware of for now.

Delta fanboy here. The fact that the wing has never been adjustable has always bugged me. The wing show always be the upright position. It doesn’t look right when its completely down.

Not 100% sure which cars are world famous off of the top of my head but in most cases, if its a specialty car, often times the tuning/upgrades are locked down to what you can accomplish. A normal car that one would not normally think would be good can be upgraded/tuned better in a lot of cases. The only way to combat this would be to unlock the tune/upgrades on those world cars. Taking away from normal cars would be against what Forza has built, lol.

I did run a few tests.

It appears that the matter about rear wing loss in the event of a car crash seems not to be affected by the size of the wing and chassis.

Went to ride the Hoonigan RS200 and the Lancia 037. Both cars have the same size of the wing as the chassis (actually in the case of the 037 the Kit Wing is less wide than the chassis). The first never dropped the wing for once in multiple crashes, while the latter 90% of the time the wing was dropped.

I guess it is fair to assume it is a car problem or brand and not a matter of wing/chassis size.

In any case, this is something that should be addressed.

I’m happy that these “non-rally” cars can compete, the more the merrier I say.

Also, the Atomic Punk is an awesome kitsch car. I’d still drive it even if it wasn’t OP in the next game.

I’m also happy if non-rally cars can compete as long as Rally Cars remain relevant. Unfortunately, in FH4 it is not the case. With exception of a few, the majority of Rally Cars simply eat dust vs non-rally cars, in Rally Races.

Go and play some custom unranked DIRT races and see it by yourself.

At times even some hypercars and supercars GT may best rally cars in FH4 even though built for tarmac/asphalt, and don’t even have the ground clearance to go through bumps. Yet they manage to handbrake hairpins and stand bumps and hills like nothing.

There is something very wrong with the car’s balance in FH4 in dirt races.

Take for example the 1.6 Turbo Rally Engine, it is garbage. It makes First and Second Gears useless in many cars, especially S1. Even with 4WD, wheels will always lose grip with the first two gears, and throttle management is a nightmare on that engine. I guess this is also one of the reasons why some rally cars are so bad in FORZA. More often than not, that engine is the only alternative to the stock engine for Rally Cars.
