How could giving away free things to people for buying delicious cookies blow up in their face? You’re getting cookies, that you would buy anyway but getting a bonus. I’m in the US and can’t take part in the promotion but Oreos are delicious regardless of whether I get a digital car, I already have, with a commercial painted on it.
On a side note: Why don’t they ever create race car liveries for these promotions with the company being the main sponsor but have racing placards, numbers, etc. Would be way cooler & worth pursuing if they weren’t just low effort billboards thrown on a car in the livery editor. I mean there’s a pic of the livery at the top. What did that take someone who’s well versed in the Forza livery editor? An hr? Hr twenty max?
Having spent a large amount of my time in the game on livery designs, I wouldn’t venture to guess how much time it took bc many designs that look fairly simple can actually be pretty complex. I would say on the surface it looks like it could be easily recreated, but I personally don’t see the appeal of it. The 20th Anniversary XBOX livery for the 918 I understood, this one, not so much (but that’s just me).
It’s about selling the cookies. Not selling xbox games. Oreo is the spender/marketeer here. They are spending money in order to sell more cookies in the EU region, where sales are lower. Nabisco doesn’t need to spend marketing budget in the US as we already eat Oeros by the sleeve here.
This promotion only needs the correct order of 4 ‘cookies’ on a website to get the promotion.
Basic VPN will get you on a European site, put codes in correct order after supplying email (they change daily by the looks per country). Correct sequence and the livery will be sent out.
I agree. These regional specific promotions are not good! I think that all of the promos should be available to everyone, regardless of of where they live. That’s just my 3 cents…
And somehow, despite having a hard time fixing some bugs, getting lighting to work, and textures, etc. I can see them pretty quickly coding an auto-ban for anyone driving such a car not in a participating country.
Don’t give them any ideas….lol….I have friends all over the world, including Europe. Some even love Oreo’s more than me. Those same people don’t play Forza and would be more than happy to send me a code.
Don’t see anything wrong with that. They purchased the product.

Usually if it was some sort of promotion straight from xbox i woudlve not been able to participate because my country is not xbox supported… Hopefully i’ll find it in the stores.
Couldnt help but think they couldve picked anoter car for this but … Turn10/ PG be like: Hey we got this promotion thing going what car should we use? Yes!! Lets use the same Pagani zonda cinque we’ve used before to send to players with a special livery…
