I agree 100%
I’d expect all cars from FM5 / FH2 in FM6.
Hopefully, we’ll know by Tuesday (Gamescon).
I’d love some F1 cars, but as long as the E21 makes a return I’m fine.
If Turn10 played their cards right, we would see a car from each era (including some rivals should the occasion call for it like the 60’s and 70’s cars in game already) 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s turbo and N/A 90’s and 2000’s
We for sure need one of the 2000’s V10 monsters (perhaps something from the 04 season)
A V8 era car and a new V6 Turbo era car are a must as well.
good news, indycar is in the game so i think that answered the open wheel question for some of you
I did pick up in the Gamescom trailer that the ART team’s McLaren 12C GT3 is featuring. Perhaps going off that, they’ll include the ART GP2 car?
Would turn ten be able to license any car that has previously Tobacco designs on it? EX: Williams fw15, Ferrari f2002,Mclaren mp4/5
because i have seen those cars in rfactor and was wondering if they could do the same way that rfactor has.
rFactor mods are really driven by the community and the makers of the game have no control over what is generated outside of blatant lady/gentleman private parts and even then, their control is extremely limited. Having tobacco sponsorship on cars isnt big in the grand scheme of things.
Turn10 would not willingly put out race cars carrying tobacco sponsorship because they know that 1.) Microsoft would not be too happy about it and axe the idea quickly and 2.) The community is moooooore than capable of coming up with accurate liveries that carry tobacco sponsorship. Turn10 wants to maintain a family friendly game, they are pretty tight on what is and is not allowed on the storefront. While funny stuff is legal in certain states, they dont allow that kind of iconography on the storefront. While adult entertainment is legal (in most countries) very few adult entertainment related designs are allowed on the store front. Tobacco isnt one of those things that they are going to lose their minds over because it is a part of motorsports history and the nerdy ones of us that want to have hyper realistic liveries, will buy or create them.
Look at the 76 McLaren in FM5. As it shipped in the game, it carried no Marlboro sponsorship but just a couple hours after FM5 hit the market, you could find a well done accurate replica livery.
Soooo short answer, no but the community will provide what you seek.
