open letter to turn 10........

Work on Forza Motorsport 5 is still very much on-going, with the team fully committed to both providing you all with new content to enjoy, along with continuing to improve the game with updates.

When we’re in a position to reveal more about our future plans you can rest assured that news will be posted here on ForzaMotorsport.net

Thats positive news HeliosT10.

Myself, and im sure along with the majority of the Forza Community will be awaiting said content and updates with baited breath.

Thank you so very much.

that’s all i wanted to hear. i look forward to the fixes. and i’m very glad to see you take an active position in the community instead of confining your involvment to the weekly news reports, which feels kind of detached.

anyway, that single post right there has made the biggest step towards restoring my faith in t10 than anything else in the last 2 years. and it’s a very welcome and appreciated gesture.

And that good sir is what was really needed. Nothing more than a simple post letting everyone know you have heard their voices, and are trying to get things worked out. I think the lack of a response was helping to fuel the negativity. Nothing gets someone fired up more than thinking they are being ignored.

I concur wheheartedly with Shanes comment and commend Helios for stepping up and doing the right thing, cheers fella.

Why can’t you give us any information about tracks that may be coming, surely they’re halfway/nearly finished making them so you can tell us IF, not WHEN they’re coming. And why is there such a lack of communication from your end? There have been so many legitimate question that go un answered that people will get frustrated and vent anger on here (all to be removed by worm). It feels as if we’re being abandoned a bit, ‘here’s the game, see you later’ .

Boy o boy my old buddy pm7oh stirred up a bit of a hornets nest here we see  lol, anyway fellow forza players look at this quote from Helios T10 is this what so many have wished to hear I quote that is said - Work on Forza Motorsport 5 is still very much on-going with the team fully committed to both providing you all with new content to enjoy, along with continuing to improve the game with updates.

Now Helios T10 must be in the know to release such a statement now the term new content is the interesting phrase .

Is this new content DLC as in car packs or new content such as more tracks ect and what the players are asking for ?

If its dlc as in car packs then i think as forza players it will be waiting for fm6 to be released before as players of the game we get and see what so many are requesting if it is just more car dlc then it looks like this is it for fm5 accept for the bugs and glitches been fixed and turn 10 are already rethinking and reviewing feedback from fm5 so they don’t make the same mistake in fm6 .

Lets hope as a community its new content as in tracks and all the things that seem to be missing we wait and see but that’s a positive statement form Helios.

Undoubtedly any new content that is released we will have to pay for. You would be a fool to think otherwise and the director who made that decision would probably be fired.

No wonder turn 10 stay quite. I was merely highlighting the statement of new content and continuing to improve the game and highlighting the fact in kind words that not to do so would be a epic fail for fm5 and we would have to wait for fm6 to see a improvement voiced on players requests i didn’t mention anything about it been free content or did helios or anything hinting what the new content is nobody knows.

And judging from your recent activity ( last 10 posts ) you have nothing positive to say about fm5 so why be here.

the game as been out around 2 month, we have had 2 updates to fix some stuff, they have changed the way we get money to more money, you expect a lot from them but they mite not be saying much because they mite be working to fixing the issues, if they was in the forum more would you not be like ‘get off the forum and fix some issues’
how many other games do you know with this much interaction with the gamers.

Also the ‘Nurburgring’ on every post like this people always so ’ yeah wheres the Nurburgring ’ i hope they give it us when you lot stop moaning that we have not got it.

I think I am apparently one of few that cares little about The Ring. I personally could do without it. I would however like to see fixes more than anything. Balance the design/tune payout requirements, fix lobbies, fix bugs, add more multiplayer options, “fix” freeplay so that you can play with friends AND AI (who wants to race 1 on 1 all the time?), fix “owned” badge showing in garage and not where you buy cars. These are things that should be priority, not fixing adding engine swaps to DLC cars. Fix the game first, then the upgrades.

Don’t get me wrong i like the ring but i’d like to see mount Fujimi before. Thats more fun

I would personally like to see replays in multiplayer with telemetry readings being added back in. Without it, Forza 5 can’t be used for alot of the league racing I was involved in.

The acknowledgement from Turn10 is definitely appreciated, but that post could not possibly have been any more vague. It reads like a white house press release.

Thanks anyway

that’s probably because it was. or at least an approved public comment. no different than a press release. what you should have taken from it is that they are listening and they are paying attention. it was acknowledged that the game still needs work and they are working on it. who knows what they’re doing. they are testing fixes and patches before they announce them. it’s possible not everything can be fixed. the point is they’re listening and they’re putting forth an effort. and that’s movement in the right direction.

Keep in mind that if the release date rumors are true, we are still roughly 4 months from the rumored release of the one and FM5. If that’s true I would think there is still A LOT of work to do on their side.

You also have to remember that if FM5 utilizes XB one features which Microsoft havent announced yet due to delays then it would be just as frustrating for them

Anti

Aliasing

On the track lines at least, PLEASE!

I just learn something dont buy it wait to someone do a complete review of the game
P.S. you got me one but you won’t get me twice
