@Rasta_Wookie_05 knows the answer to your question, there’s a way around it. I don’t know the total number for sure, but it’s a hundred or so less than 500.
Bump*
This game. This mess of a mess. Same problem here. Anyone know where is the setup folder? I deleted like 90 cars and still have a message I cant save setups, when i must have i think about 100 setup files tops.
There is no way to bulk edit the files. Just endure the agony of going through one by one.
On every past game they had to increase the tune and design save counts and yet every new game starts with a stupid low tune and design save count. they do this when they know it will pi$$ everyone off!
Stupidly, it’s all saved on the cloud as far as I know, so there is no folder for you to access.

Turn 10 MUST to do the change in the PATCH 6
It’s an urgent thing
More when we can do tunes free only with money
Listen please T10
Something tells me that this won’t be addressed until much farther down the line when more people start to run into this issue.
Hopefully they’ll address it very soon after this next update when all upgrades are available at car level 1 and players will be able to buy Car Points with credits.
When more players will be more likely to do more upgrading/tuning (since they won’t need to grind for car levels & CP anymore), more players will then quickly hit this low tune limit.
Can’t you just not save a tune and have one for each car? Now when when the new patch comes in, this should be easy.
It appears to automatically create its own autosave tuning file slot for every car when you make any changes to its build or tuning settings.
…And even using only 1 tuning slot per car would not be enough to have a tun for every car with such a low tuning slot cap.
I don’t know if this takes up a slot, I think only saving it then takes up a slot.
All Autosaves count towards the limit. If you save/share a tune and then change anything the game will create a new autosave taking another slot.
ok but the game is not going to stop me from buying a car when I have max files.
You can buy more cars, but you won’t be able to tune them.
500+ cars.
200 tuning slots.
Is the problem not clear?
…edit: problem unclear - to me.
You can still tune them, if you are over the limit a new auto save will still be created. putting you further over the limit. So you can still upgrade and tune the car. Though if you are over the limit you will not be able to save and share the tune normally. If you rename the autosave you can then share it.
So it’s a limit on non-AutoSave tune slots, but there’s no limit on AutoSave slots, and there can only be one AutoSave tune slot per car?
Every additional car after exceeding the tuning slot limit is stuck as a single-purpose car since we can then only store the single AutoSave tune for it?
After exceeding the tuning slot limit, we’d have to buy multiple copies of the same cars for our garage in order to use different tunes on the same car for different tracks & classes?
Is there a garage space limit?
Correct. Though there is a workaround to make new saves once over the limit. If you rename the autosave then share it, it will essentially create a new slot. After renaming and sharing, Any further changes will then create a new additional autosave.
Then you can repeat the process to create multiple class setups for said car.
Its still a total mess but allows you to create new builds.
Thanks. Wow. What a mess.
the garage does have a limit, 600? 1000? we dont know.
