Why do you have such an anti-attitude? This was about the TCR lobby and not about why YOU donāt watch TV anymore. I personally like to watch Eurosport when motorsport is on. But you seem to be a very negative person in general, why should anyone care that you donāt like the media, and why are you posting it here? Questions upon questions, but the main thing is that you are happy with your life, buddy, I mean that seriously. Peace be with you.

They would probably reduce the playerbase by half if they start banning ppl for small reasons.

I had a guy wreck me three times in a race. I ended up with 2/3 penalties and he got one. I was pretty heated about it. The following race we were in the same lobby, I made my way to his back bumper and just rode there until the last corner before the finish. Right at the apex I shoved him, not hard enough to throw him off track but enough that he went wide and had to slow down. I passed him and won the race. He was in my messages about how Iām a dirty driver and he was going to report meā¦
And he did, I was banned the same day for 24 hours. If you take the time to clip the incident and send it in, I know first hand that they will ban people. Yes itās temporary as they donāt want people leaving the game. But Iāll tell ya, just that 24 hour ban has really made me think twice about what I do moving forward.
It worksā¦ so in the time people take to complain about toxic drivers here they could have just reported and been done with it. Complain with zero action nets zero results. But I do believe some people just like to complain for a hobby so who knows.

Ever have a guy sit outside the pits and wait for ya. All race long he kept trying to run me off and bang on me. Wished I knew about reporting then bc I would haveā¦

Can I ask you to imagine that instead of having to send a clip in, the game actually worked as advertised and allocated the penalty points to the right person.
Or failing that, imagine that they allowed you to save and upload the replay from the game?
Or supposing thatās no good because the replay length doesnāt cover a whole race still, you could use the xbox record clip feature and upload the clip in game?
Or flag the offending driver for review?
But instead we are given a system that puts all the effort on the victim of the bad driverā¦
Because T10 canāt implement basic functionality into the game you should interrupt your free / leisure time and act as an unpaid neighborhood watch, patrolling their game for them. And they canāt even be bothered to give you a proper mechanism.

Yes all those things would be great. But we donāt have them, so the option is to manually send a clip. Or donāt.
Iāve come to this game for a more relaxed experience from sim racing, mostly iRacing. They handle reports/bans exactly the same way. I will say though that the you are able to clip a video straight out of the replay, which is convenient no doubt. You still though, need to go to the website and submit a report manually.
If you make it extremely simple to report then everyone will be reporting for minor race incidents. I think this ensures that the reports coming in are mostly valid. Consider the time it takes to manually go through and make a decision on every incident reported.

You are absolutely right.
iRacing has an excellent, functional, patent free and entirely copy-able penalty system that T10 could implement with literally 1 competent coder working for 60 minutes.
If T10 cared at all about fixing the penalty system to encourage good driving they simply have to show some contrition and humility by implementing iRacingās known to work system into the game.
By immediately applying penalties to both drivers and having a threshold for immediate removal from the race, all of the bad apples sink to the bottom.

I wish they would just implement this vs trying to use AI for fault based penalties. I feel that no matter what, there will always be some error here.

donāt forget any unsportsmanlike behaviour is against forzaās community guidelines and Ramming is against Xboxās code of conduct but and my issues i have with T10 has to innovate to improve the reporting tools system in there titles itās such a hassle & no Disrespect or anything like that to the moderators or T10 but why are we treated like we are making it up or lying if we are reporting someone via ticket. if someone had bad intentions you can punish the person who falsely reported the person maybe they could have a Xbox account so we all can share our clips for enforcement or something to share unsportsmanlike behaviour via clips the current method is not user friendly & itās combersome especially when i have Autism

I too rarely fall victim to dirty drivers. Maybe 5% of races i lose 5-15 seconds due to a dirty driver.

I agree. Iāve been arguing for a while, that Motorsport has to differentiate itself from Horizon, and to do that it has to become more sim, than arcade. It will never happen, though, too many people argue that āSimcadeā is its own thing, and Motorsport should not become too sim likeā¦ That said, while i agree with your take on the penalty system, i know it will meet with a great deal of pushback, and thus never be implemented, because its a sim type of fix.

The game is all over the place.
Passed the Qualifierās Series which do nothing to teach the basics of racecraft, players can enter any event and go from there. The lack of structure is hurting but when you structure things youāre called rigid.
As always, this game is trying to appeal to everyone at the risk of pleasing nobody.
I hate to break it to you but the work has to be done on your side, to find your happy place (which wonāt be free of frustrations) within the game.
