On your groove radio did you make a playlist before? also go into the Audio settings in game and select Groove playlist to the one you created? mine has always worked that way other than that when the game first came out it would skip to next song halfway into the current song.
Thanks to all who have posted some of the notable changes post-update, I usually like to go over update notes whether it’s a game update or an app update on my phone so you can imagine I was a little intrigued to the Nov 1st update when I saw nothing from T10 haha.
Either way looking forward to trying out this adjusted AI (rubberbanding became so very obvious when doing Goliaths) and also Groove Music with online functionality!
Noticed another difference: Auction sales don’t give you the full credits anymore, it seems that there is a ~12% cut.
Example: Jaguar D-type sold at 2,032,000 gave me ~1,800,000 credits.
Attempt to rebalance the game’s economy? Or discourage AH trading? Kind of weird not to communicate it, though…
its been doing this to me from the beginning so this isnt a change but as for perk building i racked up over 2million points in 1 chain and only got 3 so i think this has been limited
That has always been the case. After you rack up 3 skill points, the rest of the count just drains out like a pinball in a tilted machine. You may have noticed you don’t even get a partial fill of the dial afterwards. So, while you can rack up chains in the millions, and at first that’s a fun challenge, the highest practical skill score is 300K. That’s 50K x 6, or 25K x 12 during skill songs. After you get there, come to a dead stop in a safe spot, wait for the skill chain to bank, then do it again, if you want.
If patch notes aren’t written/published on the day that an update goes live, you’re not going to get them at all.
You could try sending an email to forzafb@microsoft.com but if nothing is public then there probably weren’t any notes written for public consumption in the first place.
It appears to be a shortlived improvement although hopefully we get something to do with patch notes in the WIR. (It would be better to not have to hope for patch notes though haha).
When there are game updates for content or an update for Xbox One, it is always prudent to do a system restart of the Xbox One:
Try doing a system reset (hard boot) as below:
1 – from the Dashboard, out of all games, hold the X button on the front of the console down until it shuts the system down.
2 – Disconnect the external power from the wall plug (or at least disconnect the wall-side connector on the power pack itself).
3 – WAIT until all power drains from the external power pack (no light, either white or dull orange showing on the pack).
4 – Reconnect the power supply to the electrical outlet.
5 – Restart the console in the usual manner, i.e., either with the controller or a short push on the X button on the front of the X1.
6 – WAIT until the console self-checks and fully boots to the Dashboard before attempting anything.
If you don’t disconnect the external power pack and let the power completely drain out, the system is still retaining “old” stuff and not resetting. Make sure to allow any downloads which are in progress as a result of the system reset to finish 100% before attempting to play (even if the system gives you a “Ready to play” message.
For real?! Yay! Gonna have to try it out. Is there a configuration that allows you to use the paddles to look left and right and still have rewind? Because that bugs the crud out of me.
