Forza Dev Team, when night racing I want to be immersed in the danger and excitement that racing in the dark should bring. I want to believe that the car headlights really matter and not just for show. I want to be focused on the approaching corners that appear just before they come into view. I want to see taillights of distant cars but not necessarily identify the car until it is close. I want to see the bright lights of the grand stands in the distance. I want to see outlines of the trackside trailer parks with their interior lights on etc. I absolutely do not want mobile flood lights around the entirety of the track illuminating as if it was daytime! This is relevant on every track. Night driving must feel challenging and engaging otherwise you have failed at reproducing this time of day. Please make night driving feel special. I use Xbox Series X

Enable track side light system / track side reflectors

The tracks overall look great. However, there is something critical that is not implemented in the game. It’s the trackside light system that lets real life racers know the status of the race. They are LED lights that signal race flags such as yellow flag, red flag, green flag, safety car, etc. I am sure people who are deeply into watching these races can tell me what this system is officially called. Improve Headlight Illumination

I drive in cockpit and sometimes at night, it is difficult to see corners without track limits or braking line on because it is too dark. There are a lot of track lights on these tracks and track light illumination seems to have improved since the game was launched. But track lighting doesn’t cover everything and can even add shadows making certian parts of teh track even darker. Ray traced shadows and global illumination (PC)

I feel the shadows are not a very high quality in the game with how pixelated the shadows are and that there are no shadows on cars when a light hits it. RTGI would greatly enhance the lighting with light reflecting on the tracks and other objects
