So I was just looking around on the forza leaderboard online, and I stumble upon a new track! Well not really new, its an oldie but it has some new variations! Are you excited as I am?? Cause I am pretty excited!!!
The return of Road America would be a welcome sight! I love the high speed nature of it. The configurations are slightly perplexing however, considering the track has only one configuration that I am aware of.

I agree with all of your points. Especially the multiple track variants. I find no evidence online of any new variants. Perhaps it’s referring to another track and the title just hasn’t been updated. We’ll see…waiting for an official announcement.
Edit: just saw the post above me. Interesting.
Used to be two with a chicane that could be added at the end of the straight following the carousel before coming into the kettle bottom section. Don’t know if it’s still there as I haven’t been there for quite some time, but it still shows on the technical map at roadamerica.com as a dashed line.
Nice find and cool to see it have more variations this time.
Awesome! One of my favs
Great find.
Slightly off topic but how do you navigate to the online leaderboards short of typing in the URL? I’d been thinking they’d done away with them so it was a surprise to see Crav’s post.
You can’t. I suspect they are not completely supported - currently - and have been left operating until they can be given full attention and reintegrated into the site’s menus. I haven’t witnessed any glaring issues with the data, yet; but, I imagine there may be some plans to present and maintain them in a better fashion.

Interesting… This is the one track I would want in the game over any other, so I really hope this is legitimate. Having driven this track in real life many times, it’s pretty awesome to be able to do it in a videogame, with my car too. Anyway, a couple of the track events I have been to have the kink eliminated, and bypassed completely. I believe this is also the configuration they use for motorcycle racing as well. I have never seen a reference to an east and west route though. Can’t wait to find out more.

!!
I hope so! One of my favorite tracks in FM4! Well, this and Infineon!
Nice find! Hopefully this is the start of more to come and maybe we’ll get some news soon on tracks being added.
There’s a little connector road between the true Turn 5 (most people would probably think of this being turn 3) and just after turn 13.
There’s also the chicane before the kink.
Love this track, can’t wait for it
Wow nice find, this is a good way to start my day
I just hope this is not the only track they will add seeing that you have found only this one in the online forza LB
maybe its coming soon if this track has been included to that LB

Can’t wait to race on this track again!
bump from page one
Interesting! I have never seen those variations before. Most all the modern-day track maps and descriptions I can find do not mention the cutthrough between the circuit segments. This older image shows it, though but it is not labeled.
I do see the “Bend” on the alternate circuit depicted on current track maps.
Can anyone near FM4 go and see if those were depicted but walled/coned off? I cannot remember seeing them on there, and I won’t be able to get to FM4 until this evening.
