New NVIDIA Drivers Available

Go update your drivers, apparently these are now “game ready” for Forza Motorsport. Not sure what all fixes/optimizations so let us know if you’re see any improvement - and where.

I was about to post this. I’m at work so can’t test myself but would love to hear other users experiences with these drivers and performance of the game.

I was getting 60fps and a low if 35 fps which is horrendous on auto settings and now high of 35 and low of 26. Real nice. I have some really good stuff coming for my pc, but i doubt it will help this mess. Fh5 plays beautiful mostly on ultra at 60fps.

Zero improvement on a 4090 system. the game needs patching asap…

i9 12900K
32Gb DDR5 6500Mhz
3090 Aorus with Nvidia 537.58 driver.

All in ultra/high

Playing in 49" Ultrawide monitor,
Graphics quality are very very poor. I’m really shocked.
120/140 FPS but with unstable speaks in random moments.

One thing i noticed after driver update is that i am getting screen tearing. I had to turn vsymc on to get rid of it.

After driver update I got better FPS. Attached my last benchmark run.

Before Nvidia update average FPS was 40, now got 65. Still can’t use RT, maybe due my setup.

There’s a great Digital Foundry video on this game. Apparently, it’s V-Synched at 60 FPS no matter if you have it on or off. The game runs best when V-Sync is on. Crazy, but true. I have a 3090 as well. You’re asking a ton out of that card expecting a smooth 120 on this.

Ryzen 9 5950x
64 GB RAM
Strix 3090
Samsung G9 49"

Anyone else having these issues on chrome bumpers?

Long time Forza gamer here. Day one on game one. This game still has a bunch of technical and render issues, visual bugs and glitches. It was never going to be solved with the driver or even improved. I’m amazed it shipped in this state. Worst Forza title I have ever played. It’s six months away from being a quality product. I see bizarre motion blur artifacts off the edges of cars like this is Burnout or something, broken textures, broken reflections. You see colours of the car body on the track surface which makes sense if the surface is shiny or reflective with advanced RTAO but is very distracting on normal tarmac and not at all realistic. Not even the headline ray tracing works properly. This speaks nothing of the content (lack thereof) or other well covered gameplay issues. See you in six months when they have fixed some of it.

If you’re using the default GeForce experience settings you’re probably not going to be gaining anything. They never work on a game. Tinker around with the settings, understand your hardware and the driver, and learn how to set up your game specifically for your display and the game you’re trying to play. The GeForce experience defaults have always been trash.

Until the Forza developers fix the broken DLSS we’re probably not going to gain much with driver updates.

My game isn’t saving, I don’t know why I’ve already done everything, the game is bugged, I can’t progress in career mode

Forza Motorsport 2023 - Benchmark - YouTube

Runs quite great, I mean I was not expecting to 1440p and ultra without RT to run this good with 2060s

i have this issue with all silver/chrome textures.

this has honestly made the game worse for me lol.

Turn DLSS off, Turn Ray Tracing off, runs great @4k.

EDIT: After updating the drivers, it would seem as though if keeping everything the same, I can now run DLSS in “Balanced”, although the limited percentage and latency rise quite a bit. Still runs better with DLSS off entirely.
