Use this thread to share tips, car suggestions, and experiences.
League leaderboards are ordered by points which accumulate from all your played sessions during the week.
Points per race = finish position inverted + bonus for finishing higher than players with a higher skill rating. See the League Info thread or FAQ for explanation about skill rating and Division placement. Credit payouts for each division are awarded based on the leaderboard after the League has reached its end date.
See ManteoMax.com or KudosPrime.com or this thread for a list of cars by Division. Unless otherwise specified, Leagues use Damage=Cosmetic, Collisions=On, Tuning=Allowed, Upgrades=Allowed to the maximum of the specific class restriction. Cars must be currently configured to meet the lobby restriction to appear as available options in the Rent/Buy/My Cars lists, so the list of Rental cars may be partial or empty.

Car Eligibility: Model = Dodge Viper '08 Ghost League
Note that the Leagues start on Monday this week rather than the usual Sunday.
These D class cars can be detuned to fit in E class (drag tires, aero, heavy rims), though performance may be questionable:

The 2012 Porsche GT3 4.0 can also be downgraded from S718 to fit into A class with drag tires.
Not so much a fan of the Dodge Viper but I like the spec leagues. It would be fun if they added a handful of cars to choose from though, cars that are really well matched against each other or cars that had a rivalry in history (like the '69 Camaro vs. the '69 Mustang or the Ferrari F40 vs. the Porsche 959). Or some specific group themes like 60s/70s muscle cars, 60s/70s pony cars, 90s JDM cars, 80s group B homologation cars, 90s WRC group A homologation cars, etc etc. Come on Turn 10, release the potential out of this game, it’s screaming so loud to get out.
Why change from Sunday to Monday? And why do it on the week when it’s been dead in pinnacle. Are you trying to push away the good drivers, I’m sat here at 1pm on Sunday with nothing to do wondering why I should bother to continue to play forza as there is nothing that I’m interested in racing, I’ve raced in at least one league each week since early access and this is the quietest I’ve seen it. Multiplayer hoppers are demolition Derby, career is not for me which leaves league racing and it’s either closed or dead.
RS200 spec league, I’ve not seen more than maybe 14 in a lobby all week but average over an evening is probably 6-7 people. Only a bit over 300 took part in pinnacle this week and it’s now Sunday and the top of the points leaderboard is at 57000 (my score) with 2nd at 40500. I know points don’t matter but it’s a good way to see how popular it’s been and usually the scores are well in to the 100000s by now. I’m not one for moaning normally but when the game I used to really enjoy seems to be seriously lacking in playability I feel something has to be said.
Why not do a poll or something each week on the forums so You can see what We’d like to race for the next week, I’m easy going, I’ll race whatever is available but this week shows a lot of other top drivers aren’t. All I want is competitive racing and unfortunately it’s just not there at the moment.
@RichJ81, I wonder if that’s part of the reason I’ve been bumped from Enthusiast through Professional to Elite in two weeks? To shift the numbers around??? I don’t see myself as an up and coming star. Indeed I only won two races from about 50 in Professional. Curiously I’m not getting left behind in Elite, solid mid lobby positions regardless of the size of lobby. So not exceptional at all! Conversely, I read posts from racers I was with in Enthusiast who won races, were clean and skilful but they are still there???
@Breyzipp, I’m loving the idea of a league involving a choice between classic rivalries! Scoobies vs Evo’s, Metro 6R4 vs Cossies and/or Quattro. The list must be endless!!!
Not everyone will agree with this opinion, but I know of a league that will get entries - and consistently has - while producing some of the best racing in the game. It starts with modern, and it ends with GT
Totally agree, GT is and always was really popular. I exclusively played the GT lobbies in FM5 and they were awesome. The best part was the longer races, 9 laps of Road Atlanta, 6 laps of Spa, 9 laps of Laguna, etc. They were intense and normally filled up with highly skilled players, not to mention all the cars were competitive in their own ways back then.
If it was up to me, my leagues would be 15-20 minutes long using the Formula Mazda, Indy Cars, Lotus E23, V8 Supercars, Modern GTs, 2014/15 LMP1s, Touring cars, Daytona Prototypes, Formula E and a few muscle car leagues thrown in. hint hint, t10
Sorry about it starting Monday. That slipped by me. We have someone taking over the reigns of Leagues, Rivals and Hoppers that I’m helping get up to speed. The good news is that there should be a lot more new events more often. Again, my apologies.
As for the GT Lobby, it will make its return in the near future.
There was a Modern GT league not so long ago. Must say this is my favourite division also. I do remember a 6 lapper of Spa in the rotation too. I would much prefer a league series with GTs much in the way we had with Lamborghini. Extra excitement at the moment, Blancpain is coming to Brands Hatch in a couple of weeks. I’ll be there with my son!
Another good league would be World Touring Cars, I’ve not seen this division in league yet.
It was fun racing today in pinnacle overall, but I have a hard time getting that Viper to rotate around in some of the low and medium speed corners, I struggle with understeer when I come off the brakes.
I think I pushed Rich and EMW IVORBIGUN wide a couple times today and yesterday, It’s not intentional guys I just suck lol.
You certainly don’t suck, I’d much rather race with you than the majority, you’re clean, fast and fair and most importantly, know how to race. Also very understanding after a certain someone (me) spins you out at turn 1 round Cota!
