New Leagues: C500 AWD Evos | D400 Ghosts (Historic Muscle) | Porsche Prototypes

Multiplayer League Hoppers
February 28 through March 6
Use this thread to share tips, car suggestions, and experiences.

League leaderboards are ordered by points which accumulate from all your played sessions during the week.
Points per race = finish position inverted + bonus for finishing higher than players with a higher skill rating. See the League Info thread or FAQ for explanation about skill rating and Division placement. Credit payouts for each division are awarded based on the leaderboard after the League has reached its end date.

See ManteoMax.com or KudosPrime.com or this thread for a list of cars by Division. Unless otherwise specified, Leagues use Damage=Cosmetic, Collisions=On, Tuning=Allowed, Upgrades=Allowed to the maximum of the specific class restriction. Cars must be currently configured to meet the lobby restriction to appear as available options in the Rent/Buy/My Cars lists, so the list of Rental cars may be partial or empty.

Previous Threads (recent first):

The muscle car league is surprisingly diverse. A lot of ways to be fast.

All the fast kids in the EVO league are running V-6 converted '99 EVO VIs. I’ve tried to come up with an alternative build, but the turbo engines just don’t seem to be as PI efficient.

I tried a few builds with over EVO’s but they just can’t keep up, at least not in pinnacle. I guess its a spec league now…

Thanks for the overview again ManteoMax. I tried the Evo league (professional) yesterday with a self tuned 2006 Evo IX MR and it was quite fun, the car could certainly keep up with the top. I’ll give Historic American Musscle a try as well, good opportunity to improve on some rare affinity levels like AMC, Buick and Oldsmobile.

Gotta say I’m not really looking forward to this week’s leagues,

The time slots are the same both finishing at 9pm (UK time) what happened to one finishing 2 hours later?

No spec league? I really enjoyed the Lotus it made for some really good racing. I suppose some will argue that everyone racing a 99 Evo is kind of a spec league.

I’ll give the endurance a go, could be fun. Not a huge fan of AWD nor C class but it beats racing ghosts.

Both leagues same time slots at a very bad schedule here in CET. So i will (can’t) not race a lot this week in league, at least not as i would like. :frowning:

The same here… Normally I can race from 10.00pm. But then the ghost league stops and opens at 12.00pm. So not much time to race. It would be better when 10.00 til 12.00pm is open in central europe.

Having both leagues run at the same time is not good planning.

The muscle car league is awesome, I have already built 4 different cars that are super competitive including a sweet El Camino which can run leaderboard times. I think the 73 Trans Am is going to be the best on most tracks but you can put in competitive times with at least half a dozen cars.

The 73 is a leaderboard car in D. I fully expect to see everyone use it.

It should be easy to beat though based on what I’ve seen online. Hardly anyone can drive it faster than a low end top 100 online. Almost all of the cars should be competitive. It’s hard to go wrong if they are built well.

I have 2 Holden tunes shared that will dominate in the right hands. Both run top 50s online with only minor driving errors.

Yes, the times available for league race are horrible this week. I usually race some in the morning, EST, and no leagues open from 7am - 10am. Boooo!

Dont even have a trans am but…seem to have done great with a 67 vette and 69 gto. Definitely enjoying it this week.

Disappointed Historic Muscle is for the ghost league, would much rather have those for endurance rather than Evos for obvious reasons. That being said I doubt i’ll play much this week.

Agreed but it’s better than nothing. You’ll probably need a 1.6L to be competitive in the evo league which completely turns me off.

I agree too, did a couple of hours last night and its the 3.7 V6 conversion for the evo, 1.6 turbo goes beyond the Pi. Still a bit boring after last weeks spec league though.

the 08 looks like the only one the you can even fit the 1.6. Even then you can’t run brakes, springs or ARBs. Looks like the best option is the 99 with 6 cylinder swap.

Then maybe I’m thinking of B class? Can’t remember which I had my Evos. Might have to take a look and see if I like the racing then.

I don’t mind the 1.6, it’s the C class/AWD combo that turns me off. I will probably fall asleep before the race is over.

To each his own. I can’t stand the goofy shifting. C class isn’t too bad for the cars on some tracks like hockenheim but yea on those faster layouts they are boooooring.
