Forza Motorsport 6 - Leagues Request List

Hello League Racers!

This thread will exist for you to suggest Leagues that you would like to see. Please follow the rules and maybe one week you will see your League pop up. Posting in this thread does not guarantee that your League will be chosen.

Rules:

  • Discuss issues with Leagues or Changes outside of this thread.

  • Comments will be deleted that don’t follow the format

  • State the following info in your reply

  • Type of League - Ghost, Spec, Division, Class, Endurance

  • Restrictions - Stock, Tuning, Simulation Damage on/off, etc

  • Cars Allowed - Class, Specific Car, Groups of cars, etc

  • Lastly give a short reason why you think this would be a good League that is competitive and that others would enjoy.

The cleaner you keep your post and this thread, the easier it is for me to try and figure out what you are suggesting.

  • Triton

Used Suggestions to Date:

thank you Triton, I would like to see some R class Ghost in the near future, I think stock Modern GT would be very interesting so the Aston 007 and the McLaren M8B do not rule the lobby. I don’t believe that has been done yet in ghost. I would like to be competitive in some of the other GT cars that wouldn’t be able to compete if the PI is 900. I don’t mind the damage on. It has been a few months since it has come up. I think it will teach newer players how to handle the faster classes before going into hopper and causing havoc because they can’t control the cars. It is also very competitive for veteran players who enjoy driving racecars. Thank you again Triton, it is great you are getting the community involved. Most important to me at least is to keep it interesting, class should be varied every week in fairness to those who like a specific class. A specific class should not return until all the others have been gone through. That way you know in a 9 week period that would cover E- X that your favorite classes will come up in that time period.

Users can tinker with the filters in my online cars/tracks spreadsheet at ManteoMax.com or the one at Kudosprime.com to come up with specific restrictions for car matchups. For reference, here’s a list of previous league restrictions:

thank you Max as well, this has made my day. You did a twitter poll once as well, way back when the game first came out. That would be nice too, maybe not every week but once in a while.

Modern GT - Restricted to R850 - Tunes allowed - Collisions Triton’s choice - Aston Martin, Lamborghini and BMW M3 not allowed - Restrictors ON, no engine upgrades.
I have been racing in a Sunday night group and it is very close racing all the time.

Radical SR8 Only - Rmax or Stock - Tunes allowed - Collisions Triton’s choice.
I love the Radical and this would be intense racing with good control.

Porsche vs Ford vs Ferrari vs Chevrolet - S800 or R900 - Tunes Allowed - Collisions Triton’s Choice.
With Le Mans coming soon, this will get people excited for the race.

Ferrari FXX K - Spec Only or Stock with Tuning - Collisions Triton’s choice
Because this car can race itself no problem.

Caparo T1 - Spec only or Stock with Tuning - Collisions Triton’s choice
Because this car can race itself.

#1 NISMO GT-R - Spec only or Stock with Tuning - Collisions Triton’s Choice
This car is great and this would be fun on all tracks.

League type - Global Touring Cars (Division)
Restrictions - S800 with tuning, Normal damage
Cars allowed - All cars in the division
Reason - Touring cars are known worldwide for their close racing, both in game and in real life, and it is an obvious choice for a league if people are looking for competitiveness

• Type of League - Multi class (2 Classes) Modern GT & Endurance Prototypes
• Restrictions - Collisions on (preferably sim damage off with small increase in laps)
• Cars Allowed - Modern GT & Endurance Prototypes (with leaderboard cars restricted as in past leagues)
• Multiclass hopper is proving very popular but lacks the competition of the leagues and both Modern Gt and Endurance Prototypes were popular leagues

• Type of League - V8 Supercars
• Restrictions - Collisions on (preferably sim damage off with small increase in laps)
• Cars Allowed - V8 Supercars
• Was popular last time hasn’t been done with collisions on in a long time

• Type of League - Cycled production
• Restrictions - Collisions on (preferably sim damage off with small increase in laps)
• Cars Allowed -
• Spec leagues are nice but can become boring after a couple of days driving the same car especially when that car isn’t very fun to drive. Has been requested several time before so should be popular

• Type of League - Modern GT Cars
• Restrictions - Collisions on (preferably sim damage off with small increase in laps)
• Cars Allowed - Restrict dominant cars in the division and maybe lower PI limit to try to make some cars like the 911s competitive
• Always popular

and 2nd this:

Played this last night and loved it apart from the idiots who bump you off the road, i never got past the first turn on one race because my car got bumped and with simulation damage on it was wrecked.
I need to learn how to avoid these idiots great fun though pity its only open for 6 hours a day though i dont see the point in this play time restriction.

There seems to be a lot of repetition in leagues lately. I don’t mind repetition in leagues that are popular (V8 Supercars, modern GT, Touring Cars) but when numbers are down and there is little interest in the leagues I think we need to share some new/exciting options

This league was extremely well recieved by the community and a lot of fun too.

Both of mikes suggestions include cars that many players rarely ever touch.

And to add another option…
Spec League using either the '12 Mini Cooper JCW, the '13 Renault Clio RS, or the '07 Clivic Type R
Restrictions: Double Laps, Sim Damage No Quickstop
Reason: Nobody ever races FWD.

I think the current leagues we’ve been getting are a bit stale. I enjoyed the Formula Ford races but besides that it’s been spec R Class events for the most part. For me, leagues have always been about trying and finding cars that you would have never thought to have used before. I always looked forward to the build and tune and working to find what fit best to a certain league restriction. Lately I have lost that element of discovery in finding new cars that used to attract me to the leagues every week.

With around 500 cars, how many times can we run the same spec GT cars

Type of league: Historic American Muscle - B600 - Endurance

Restrictions: Normal damage, Collisions on

Cars restrictions: Exclude the 73’ Pontiac Trans-Am. With a good build it’s arguably the best car by a long shot in this division and class, even in overall B class it’s one of the fastest.

Reason: Not only is there a wide variety of cars to use, they are easy and fun to drive which makes the lap times very close in the lobby. Longer races would be better when everyone is running such close times, It’s disappointing when a good race comes to an end after only 3-4 laps.

Type of league: Spec - S800 - Endurance

Restrictions: Normal damage, collisions on

Car Restrictions: 2014 Maserati #35 M.Calamia Swiss Team MC Trofero

Reason: I like spec leagues, but as a massive motorsports fan they are far more interesting to me when they are similar to this (Maserati Trofeo MC World Series). Rather than using a bone stock LFA/Viper/whatever. The Lambo leagues were great but the races were way too short imo.

I have nothing against using bone stock cars, it’s just kind of lame when most people just use the same rented car with identical paint jobs. At least if a person has to buy and upgrade they might download a design or make their own at the same time.

Type of league: Endurance Prototypes - P998 - Endurance

Restrictions: Normal damage, collisions on

Car Restrictions: 2014 #2 Audi Team Joest R18 E-tron quattro, 2015 #23 Nissan GTR-LM Nismo, 2015 #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid, 2014 #18 Toyota Racing TS040 Hybrid, & 2014 #12 Rebellion Racing Lola R-one

Reason: Modern prototypes are always overshadowed when up against the cars from older eras, I know these cars probably won’t be very balanced across the board but it would be a nice change other than a lobby with mostly 787Bs or Peugeot 905s.

In the spirit of the golden era of rallying - Group B

Group B rally (in the '80s) is considered to be the golden era of the sport. To register a car into Group B rally, constructors had to build a limited number of 200 road cars (=homologation). In Forza 6 there are 7 cars which are such road cars that were needed for homologation and were specifically built to enter Group B rally with the related race car. Wouldn’t it be nice to race these 7 cars in a weekly league.

Background info : All the cars that were officially registered and homologated for Group B can be found here.

Type of League : can be endurance or normal

Restrictions : Simulation damage on / Tuning allowed to A-class (PI700) so that the Ford RS200 can participate as well.

Cars allowed : (needs to be a handpicked list, not a default car division in game)
1983 Audi Sport Quattro S1
1984 Ferrari 288 GTO
1985 Ford RS200 Evolution
1982 Lancia Rally 037 Stradale (tipo 151)
1986 Lancia Delta S4 “Stradale”
1986 MG Metro 6R4 “Clubman”
1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16

Birth of Grand Prix
A700 and own tuning
Collisions on
All cars from 1939 - Perhaps with Ferrari 375 if it’s not way better.

Legends of Grand Prix
S800 and own tuning
Collisions on
All 1967 GP cars

These two (especially the first class) are rarely used in multiplayer. The first class only exists as a showcase event as well, making it a rare racing event. I leave the format to you, but something longer than 4 laps would be nice.

I like the idea, but is it capable? (Full Disclosure I’ve never run a lobby except by accident so I’m not familiar with all the options).

I think this would appeal to fewer than desired - thought I love the idea!

E class ghost haha… would be pretty fun! (going off of max)

Post guys, they are asking for input and there are like 10 responses.

Type: Ultimate Sport Machines
Overrides: Sim damage, normal lap counts, Rolling Starts
Cars Allowed: All Cars In Division (Max PI A600)
Reason: Last time around this was a very well liked league, with many competitive cars and a lot of close racing

thanks for the X class ghosts Triton, I wanted fast, guess I got it. Gonna be trying out the #1 Scuderia Ferrari 641. I hope it can compete with the Lotus E23.

  • Type of League - Endurance Multi-class (2 Classes) A and S Class. If endurance, S-Class starts 30 seconds after A class (this may need to be tweaked)
  • Restrictions - Simulation Damage
  • Cars Allowed - Modern Sport Legends and Sport GT - which includes a great number of cars that can be competitive in either class.
  • A & S class in Multi-class hopper have been proving to be competitive even between classes depending on the track.

Class league

No restrictions other than R class

McLaren P1, LaFerrari, Porsche 918

Why? Well it’s the only game feautring “the holy trinity” and a league to battle them out in would be amazing

League type - VIR Virginia International Raceway League
Restrictions - S800 with tuning, No damage
Cars allowed - All cars
Reason - This would be the only place that we can race cars other than Porsche online on these tracks

League type - FXX K vs P1 GTR vs One:1
Restrictions - P910 thru P932 with tuning, No damage
Cars allowed - Definitely the three cars listed. Maybe some other P class cars in this PI range.
Reason - These cars (listed above) cannot be upgraded to be raced in the P class hoppers. Therefore they cannot be raced online (or career). Therefore we need a league. Alternatively we need to have the ability to create lobbies that can be searchable by all players like we had in forza 4. Then we could race these cars online in purpose built, searchable lobbies.
