For the Ghost League you’ve only really got 2 options, the Lotus E23 or IndyCar. The E23’s significantly faster but also trickier to control (especially without Assists).

A list of eligible cars for Modern GT racing can be found here.

R Class GT in Pro League, is this a good idea? My 1st experience, lots of crashes based on driving errors in this fast und powerfull cars. I think this is a bit over ther skill of average drivers.

I’m not sure how Professional is, but in Pinnacle last night I had mostly clean races.

Haven’t settled on a car yet but the Audi and Corvette seem to be the nicest to drive. The Lamborghinis have the best launch however so if I can get one of those tuned up I should be able to do well.

That was my experience too, lots of crashes, damage and cars out of control. Back to the ghost league for me.

Ghost is X Class this week - and for me, X Class is out of my skill, ghosted or not. I don’t have fun racing this super fast “things” and i don’t have the reflexes of a Jedi.

And, I’m a cockpit driver, ghost racing from cockpit is no fun … if you are in a close race with 2 or more cars, you go nearly blind. think it is the same for hood view or bumper view Drivers. Well, i know FM is made for 3rd Person Drivers :frowning:

I race in the pro league and as others have said R880 is out of my comfort zone. I will try a AWD car and may have to turn assists on if that doesn’t help.

I liked last nigth the simulation races, i don´t know if i was lucky but racers was very carefull and gentle…not often but surprisingly well.

Anyone knows when other eventes in Rivals are changed or renoved?? i´m reffering to the monthly VIP, Auto-Cross, etc…specially drift in Rivals because i like drift a lot but we have only one track with RWD cars…is this going to be increased?

Salute!!

You almost have to tune something else up to X999 since they have night races. It’s a bit hard to run the bugatti circuit in the dark with no headlights on the F1 or Indy cars.

Raced X class for the first time in this game last night. It was fun, despite getting stomped by a few of the REALLY fast guys. I just wonder why Turn10 put several night races in the rotation. Most of the X class cars have no lights.

I think T10 have made a mistake in this respect. We had Daytona oval in the V8 Supercar list. I knew they’d leave in night tracks. Only a couple of corners are pitch black on Bugatti though.

They have spa night and nordschleife night in the rotation. Cant see a thing.

After that I made an x class audi r18 e-tron for when the night races pop up again, though I suspect everyone would quit out and I’d be left lapping by myself. Not sure if you even get 100 points for that.

It’s a bit annoying that people quitting out of a race means the winner gets less.

Very annoying, especially in a Sim lobby, or one where there are longer races.

It should not be that way.

I just thought I’d throw my hat in the ring Gt league. Yesterday there were some collisions but the track choices are good because there not to technical and have a lot of high speed areas to stretch the group out, I had some good racing on there yesterday and we were 20-24 deep each race. I saw way worse in others, and usually I stick to the ghost leagues but yesterday was very good. But if you not in the
Aston, good luck. Personally I run the R8

I’ve been having a blast in the Modern GT league. I’ve had some real good races with the Bentley, seems to be the underdog car which is why I like it. I’ve also ran the R8, Corvette and Viper which were all quite competitive.

Most people have been pretty clean aside from occasional corner cutters. I get a kick out of some of these guys that use every excuse in the book to justify cutting as well as the toilet language that spills out of their mouths. I guess some of the Elite aren’t so elite after all.

I must admit that due to a small minority of racers who seem to only have a couple of words in their vocabulary I normally start a party up before I play online. It’s a shame as a lot of racers use the voice well but as I’m not using a headset I don’t want to run the risk.

I had several races in the ghost league where there were only two or three drivers finishing, and the rest of us got DNFs. Its mind boggling to me how fast and flawless some of these drivers are with the XClass. Don’t get me wrong I find it very fun to drive these things but holy crap! I had to switch to the indy car as the two extra gears on the lotus where screwing me up royally. It really didn’t help much but I did place first on the oval track they have in the rotation as everyone was using the lotus and I was cruising at 233 for all 8 laps haha. If I show no signs of improvement, I might try the sim league. I hear people are a lot more courteous than the other non ghost league. Regardless the leagues are super fun and Im enjoying them immensely. Cya on the track
EhF

I pulled the night tracks out of Ghost League. That was a mistake. Hopefully you should be able to see on all tracks now.

Wow … was racing yesterday in R class GT. The best online racing for now. I enjoyed this a lot. But R class, this is at my limits. I can only do a couple of races in a row. And it looks like this is (at least in pro) the same for a lot of racers. Best lap times are often very close, but the field is stretched to long gaps often by minor driving mistakes of the drivers.
The finishing time out could be a little longer. From my point of view to less drivers can finish the race.

Definitely. Especially since everyone who does manage to finish the race gets 100 points less for every racer that doesn’t finish.

Anyone who gets a DNF isn’t likely to stick around for more punishment and before you know it there’s only 3 people left in the lobby.

I think the end race timers should be at least a minute everywhere, but some races, it should be 1.5-2minutes. I’m pretty quick, but in a race with some of the very fastest guys who can do laps several seconds faster, all it takes is a small mistake or two and I might not be able to finish. I’m nowhere near the bottom of the division. I think it would be extremely frustrating for many people. Turn 10, please increase the end of race timer, everywhere.
