Multiplayer League Hoppers
April 17 through April 24
Use this thread to share tips, car suggestions, and experiences.
League leaderboards are ordered by points which accumulate from all your played sessions during the week.
Points per race = finish position inverted + bonus for finishing higher than players with a higher skill rating. See the League Info thread or FAQ for explanation about skill rating and Division placement. Credit payouts for each division are awarded based on the leaderboard after the League has reached its end date.
See ManteoMax.com or KudosPrime.com or this thread for a list of cars by Division. Unless otherwise specified, Leagues use Damage=Cosmetic, Collisions=On, Tuning=Allowed, Upgrades=Allowed to the maximum of the specific class restriction. Cars must be currently configured to meet the lobby restriction to appear as available options in the Rent/Buy/My Cars lists, so the list of Rental cars may be partial or empty.
Me too! I have been testing the RS200 lately in free-play. It works surprisingly well in the wet for being stock. Looking forward to the spec league this week although I won’t get to start until Monday…
Looking forward to getting around to playing in the Vintage Touring League. Kinda wish it wasn’t ghosted though.
My 356A, Corvette C0, and Fiat Dino are ready.
Yes it means completely stock no upgrading or tuning allowed.
Having given the RS 200 a go earlier its not a bad car to drive, however I can see it getting a bit boring after a couple of days of driving it. I don’t know if its possible but I think it would be nice if the stock car changed daily for the duration of the league. I know they can do cycled production but that gives you only one race per car, if the car changed daily it would give you time to adjust to each car but keep it fresh at the same time.
Is it me or are the RS220’s incredibly skatey?!?! I remember it from FH2, it was a separate skill event, but easier to handle (and that was on the grass fairway at the golf course).
This league demands you drive it from stock. But you can adjust tyre pressure and anti-roll bars. The anti-roll is quite soft, maybe as the RS220 was known for rally and it needed that give in the corners. I have firmed mine up a bit but can’t stop it going sideways…is this the point???
I have noticed that in the corners the car rotates from practically the centre and have had minor success in adjusting my line accordingly.
Did yesterday 2 or 3 races for testing in the specleague. And now I really know for real what oversteering means. This Ford is driving more difficult than the Huracan without any further tuning than buying the parts to get your score.
I’ve tried all different anti-roll settings on the RS220. For me it’s a bit better with firmer settings. But, when entering it for the league, does the game reset my adjustments or do they carry through? Please help, I’m having murders with this car lol!
I believe it resets, but might want to check telemetry to confirm. This car has a short wheel base and so even though it is awd it tends to handle more like the Huracan in the lambo league. Suspension feels really soft and the rear wants to rotate easily since the front tires seem to bite too hard. I find myself fighting snap oversteer if I enter the corners to fast. Same if I punch it on corner exit.
I am finding that modulating the throttle at apex helps prevent the sliding. Correct speed and car balance going intothe corners I have using the brakes to shift the weightonto the outside front tire.
To sum up…a little less speed into the corners, early braking when possible, On the throttle after the apex or when fully squared up. Plus shifting a little early in the lower gears coming out of the corners. Avoiding the Cota and Brands curbing at all cost…lol
Good luck and hopefully some of the faster people will chime in.
Why are the leagues in sync with each other on what times they run? Usually the Ghost league has different times than the other non ghost league. Now, the Ghost League, this weeks spec league and Porsche Special Events all on the same times, we have dead time were no Multiplayer races are happening. Was this done on purpose or just an oversight?
I noticed this too. All three leagues are on the same schedule. There are still multiplayer lobbies available though. Just not league play.
I kind of like having the downtime. I can run some tracks in the RS200 before the leagues open up, to get familiar wth it again. LOL
I think non competitive leagues, or leagues that don’t provide a special prize other than credits, should be open 24/7. I want to race with good drivers when I feel like it, not when a window tells me I can.
@ThaSnail46
Thanks for that. Modulating throttle really helps but I find there’s better control when using"left foot" braking. You are definitely correct about entry speed, I really need to be careful going in.
On another note, it’s a very odd track rotation in this league.
