Manual/Automatic on the tune menu so it would be as easy to swap from one to the other as to put a half pound of air pressure in your tires. This would promote use of both. Experimentation. I have many hardcore times posted but at 66 yo and after having a controller in my hands for 20+ years while playing Forza i have an ongoing issue with arthritis and would happily embrace the ease to swap. Having it in the Tune Menu would be perfect. TY , BikeShopGuru. (NastyGuru for a short period of time while with Nasty Motorsports.)
For immersion:
- When the player looks back in the cockpit, they can look out through the rear window frame and see the body behind the seats (either the rear wing behind the rear window or the mid-engine).
(Iâm sure a lot of players will love this, especially if theyâre driving a mid-engined car.) - Enter the cockpit with the Forzavista for a 360° view of the carâs interior and interior can be photographed use camera mode.
- HeadLights, EmergencyFlashers that can be manually controlled using keyboard or other peripherals. RainLght/FogLight is automatically or manually turned on during rain or fog.
- When upgrading vehicles in the garage, players can hear the difference in the sound of different accessories by stepping on the accelerator. (It already exists in FH5 but not in FM7)
- Vinyl shape can use special colors, like select a rectangle and set it to metal flake or carbon fiber polished.
Simulation and Physics:
- More realistic output characteristics of engine clutch gearbox, such as turbo lag.
- Hop for richer custom upgrade and custom tuning, such as adding ECU custom tuning, custom Anti-Lag system.
Some game details:
- When driving in a straight line, tire smoke pulls a vortex from the outside to the inside near the rear of the car. (This can be observed in FM7 at full throttle start, itâs really nice, I hope FM2023 can do better)
- In FM7 there is wind noise and wiper and mirror shake. (I hope FM2023 can keep these)
- The brightness of the interior environment from the cockpit viewing angle must be done well, which greatly affects the driving experience.
- The vehicle information shows the added size, the number and arrangement of engine cylinders (L4/V8/F6), the intake method (NA/Turbo/supercharger), the fuel tank volume, etc.
When in cockpit driver view, and when youâre turning a corner, make the driver look through the corner more to increase the realism feel in view rather than the image catching up to where youâre going.
You donât look straight ahead when cornering.
Rivals really should be improved.
- PB ghost
- Load new ghosts as your time improves without having to stop.
- Only dirty upcoming lap if you do something after the last braking zone starts, not just anywhere in the last sector.
I would also like to see the dot of the rival you choose to stay on the mini map like in Horizon when you turn off the ghost. Sometimes the ghost is distracting but it would be nice to know if you passed it even though you canât see it.
Wow you are so off. You probably shouldnât spout off things when you have absolutely no idea what youâre talking about. The Xbox One has sold over 50 million units and the Xbox 360 86 million units, hereâs the proof. Facts: they matter.
I canât believe Iâm actually doing thisâŚ
first letâs just check off what I wonât be talking aboutâŚ
Physics now thatâs out of the way
There needs to be better control of the weather/time. If itâs anything close to what I have witnessed within FM7âŚplease noâŚ
Name/gamertags do not show up in cockpit view if there is a windshield in FM7. Hopefully this has already been addressed. Tbh coming from someone who prefers and is used to 1rst person changing/adjusting the amounts of degrees of rotation with the virtual steering wheel doesnât matter. Itâs not something you pay attention to when racing unless something is really wrong.
Showrooms! Adjustable/moveable lighting!
Better control of custom multiplayer lobbies. Honestly I have no real interest in forza other than virus/keep the it and custom racing lobbyâs with those willing,
Apologies for not having an interest in putting down unrealistic esports lap times with broken setups or getting hit pretty much every corner in public/regular circuit racing lobbyâs ( it is what it is )
Not on the console, but would 120fps 1080p or 1440p be asking too much of the upcoming FM and current Xbox consoles?
Last one, sorry
The fictional air field test track ( Open Space ) needs to be increased in size at minimum . How are you going to properly test a car if you cant even test the top speed. just expand out a bit behind the huge hangers, I mean when you look behind the hangers all you see is a flat desert so why not expand a bit.
The official has mentioned in the blog that the time of day and weather can be customized.
Q: Will I be able to choose the 24-hour day/night cycle and weather?
A: You will be able to choose time of day, or a time period, as well as weather.
FAQ-NewFM Support
I guess the new time weather system might be similar to Assetto Corsa with Sol weather plugin installed.
Thank you for telling me about the update to time control. Something similar to pure/sol would be nice but sounds like a stretch if Iâm honest ( so much freedom in the original ac these days ) fingers crossed though.
Hopefully the lighting situation is improved on for those more on the artistic side, paint, skin and design etc
lobby rank and keep unicorn cars rare like they were in FM3. FM4 game modes. FM7 Physics and graphics. dont go crazy with cars like the rocket 69, keep them realistic. also, more realistic engine swaps. 2j, LS, RB and other crate engines like 350, ford 7.3 gas, etc. more track variety including some attention to drifting.
For cars that have an option for both manual and auto, choosing the transmission in the game should reflect the actual performance of those transmissions. Like for modern cars, choosing the automatic or manual w/o clutch should reflect in the game that it has more forward gears, shorter gearing and different final drive. Having the ability to switch to the base diameter wheels (the lightest setup) of what the car came in. The E46 M3 in the series, for example, always come in 19âs and in reality, whoever is taking their E46 M3 to the track will be switching them out for lighter and wider 18âs. Also have the ability to op-out of the ceramic brake options please. Locking these settings out when you purchase the car in the game would be nice incentive to have different versions of the âsame carâ in your garage. There are barely new cars with manuals and 19â wheels are considered the small wheel option for them, but having the options avail for the older cars would be nice.
Also a management system to manage a race team during a season would be great!
Quick and Clean with this Top 10:
Car Clubs (and with that, Club Garages)
Overall Leaderboards
Point to Point Races
Practice, Qualifying, Race Option
Storefront (looking for tunes by particular user etc, just like in FH5)
Slipstream Improvements
Minigames (Top Gear Football, Cat and Mouse etc, as well as changing the tag virus/pass the it/keep the it venue due to it being the same for so long, could use tracks again like on FM4)
Car Customisation (such as Bodykits, Rims etc)
Rallycross
More Enjoyable Menu/Race Music (as selection on FM7 was relatively small)
One of my gripes with FM7 was Timed Races literally ending at the second the timer finishes, and not at the end of that lap for the leader. Would like to see it reflect real world racing and having the lap finish at least, if not have a Formula E style option of +1 Lap.
If you are doing a Timed Race, the âBest Lapâ seems to show as distance, Iâd like that changed as even in a timed race they get recorded as time, Distance would be the same every lap.
A game like Assetto Corsa Competizione has a good model for this (youâd hope it would, as it is essentially the licensed game for a real world series that does timed races).
Anyway guys calm down, you are really going further.
Scrolling through the messages I read thing like âI would like to see the engine swap in Forza Vistaâ.
The cars are 3d models invites from the builders to Turn10. Imagine in the new Forza taking the v6 from the m4 and putting it in an old m3. Go to Forza Vista and what do you expect to see? That magically the game knows how to fit cables, pipes, etc into the new compartment? Are there mechanics who spend weeks adapting engines and here we ask developers to spend months creating a system that automatically adapts an engine to the various engine compartments?
Of course I am also happy when they add small but important visual details. See the engine swap would be incredible, but we have to understand that it is infeasible if you have 300 cars and 30-40 engine types that you can âswapâ
The feedback probably doesnât even read them, but at least we ask for the most necessary things.
We all know the biggest problems, the qualifications, custom races/championship, more tuning, the steering wheel animations and the cockpit camera.
Hi all,
