As well as having the big wing, we need different options for that (other posts for that) but, some cars would look better with just a small lip spoiler and not this big wing. Some Forza Aero is a lip, but not on every car. Take the Ferrari 288 GTO. A lip would look miles better than a big wing.

The spoiler customization in fh5 is very limited as we all know
the only spoiler that most cars have in common is the forza horizon 5 race rear wing
and we all know that the height and width of the spoiler just doesn’t fit or suit some of the cars in the game so why not add an option for a custom wing set with the forza horizon 5 race rear wing as the base and give us some customization options like
spoiler height width curve or even tilt adjustment
sculpt customization to be able to customize the shape of the wing
endplate customization
spoiler bracket/ stand customization
spoiler bracket spacing customization
I chose this specific spoiler cause i think this is the only spoiler in the game where licensing won’t actually be an issue. I actually got this idea from carbon’s autosculpt feature and even I remembered it until now because I know that was a very good feature and that wasn’t just available for the spoiler it was available for everything from the front bumper , rear bumper and even side skirts but we don’t need those extra stuff because fh5 actually has good bodykits especially with rocket bunny coming back so the spoiler adjustment would be enough for now.
Agree with you just some more options would be nice. unbranded/forza designed spoilers would be a good start. Thanks

What I am suggesting is an aero system that is similar to that of Gran Turismo 7. If you haven’t played GT7 than this is what it looks like,
A list of things that could be customized:
Wingtips
Wing base
Wing supports
Front splitter
Canards
Tow hooks
Side skirts
Rear diffuser
If these options could get implemented we could add a new level of personalization and customization to the cars we play with and use for specific or unspecific purposes such as drifting, online racing, and time attack. I’d love to get more options and input on this and if enough people can get on board then we can implement this into the game.

We need window stickers ! aswell as different options for exhaust tips that don’t just change with the rear bumper change, so may times a bumper choice has the exhaust I want on my car but I have to settle for a pea shooter !
At least I want APR and Voltex Spoilers in Forza, just like in NFS.

There NEEDS to be a forza generic duckbill for ever car the current is so old and so ugly on most cars.

I would love to see GT3 and GT4 style spoilers and splitters, optionally masks. In addition to things from the GT series, it would be nice to get elements that look cool and discreet so that when I add them to the car they look like factory ones, as well as aggressive and absurd parts. Adding new parts would greatly diversify the optical tuning because currently it is forzie horzion weak in most cars.

Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. The current Forza aero is so ugly. The front aero, sure, I’m fine with. That can stay if they don’t want to change it, but that wing is horrendous. It looks so bad. They need to redesign it so that it’s less ugly. There are plenty of wing designs they could pick otherwise that look nicer universally.
Ii think various types of generic wings would be fun, going along with the existing one
Spoilers like NASCAR cars or GT cars and stuffs like that
I’m not sure on how the physics are calculated but it would be nice to be able to carve out our own.
The worst thing in the game at present IMO is the RED tow loop on the front aero, it wrecks the aesthetics on nearly every car and deters me from using it 95% of the time. As a modder I can tell you it is so easy to correct something like this. It should be paintable or plain steel or black. Why would they make it red when it quite clearly looks terrible? I’m all for proper front aero customisation but at the very least they need to delete or recolour it so it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb!

We need more body kits and customization options for cars.Normal cars are boring man!! NFS unbound has huge body kits and customization options. I think its high time to add more n more of these…so just stop giving new cars for a while and add a lot of new body kits…please!!!

Months, years now have passed and no official word on if they are working on this or not. Would be cool to at least have a word saying “we not gonna change this” or “we not gonna add this” because this is clearly the most voted thing in general and we still keep seeing this feature or this car was the most voted. Like ok cool, but this is what everyone is hoping for. The “body kits” doesn’t make any sense either from the performance pov. Some you can tune front and rear, some you can only change rear, some you can only change front, some has a huge spoiler and you can’t tune, some has a little lip and you can make a huge tune on it. Some off road trucks has the same mod and yet one you can tune and the other you can’t. What is the idea behind? Some car already have a tune pre determined and can’t be tuned? Some the forza aero just looks horrible and completely misaligned. Like camon, we don’t need more Donut updates, or any more themed ones. We need a proper Forza Aero update with a lot of customization options. Please.

So far what i’ve noticed is that the forza parts are ‘race’ tier and whenever you have a car with alot of customization options these parts are counted into ‘street’ or ‘sport’ tier which doesn’t unlock the tuning part. I think fixing that already solves some of the issue.
Also seeing more options for bumpers and spoilers already helps alot so would definately love seeing that in the game.
It would be nice if we could configure our own wings and splitters like in Gran Turismo.
An easy start would be straightening the kink in the rear wing. It would look SO much better! Also, please remove the tow hooks
