Why do I feel like this is the way AI will be treated in the real world too ?
“Yes, the self driving car ignored the stop light, ran over the pedestrian legally crossing in the marked cross walk, and collided with traffic going through the intersection on the green light. The AI will not be suspended.”
…AI drives out of the courtroom weaving and running over several people on the way out before t-boning a parked bus and exploding.
Crazy… back in the days of OG Forza online, I used to have an H2 hummer with 69’ing dolphins that I would purposely turn around and ram into oncoming racers.
I guess they don’t want us to enjoy the game the way we really want to…
Btw, I got an answer to my “Marshall” suggestion above which basically says that the ranks are currently filled (guess they’re talking about FM here) and that they’ll ask various sources who to select if a position opens.
That’s at least something. Unfortunately they didn’t say anything about if they’re going to implement something like that in FH in the future.
Well code of conduct is working for me usually I get rammed a lot and mostly by same players with odd one mistaking you for not hitting them, now I can enjoy the game as the ramming has almost stopped and now when I see the guy who had previously been ramming me keeps a wide birth some even crash to avoid me lol bless them so big thank you to Devs for implementing this it has improved my experience no end .
Ai in trial on fh4 was even worse than that, they had an invisble forcefield around them, if you stayed to close to ai it would activate the forcefield and it would push you of the road. No contact was needed for that
PGG have created the state of the game as it is now. Remember back to FH3 where before the start of each race it said “Race clean. Earn the most points and win”. That was when it was a skill points based online championship. Since FH4 and also in 5 that message changed to simply “Race fast and win”. PGG themselves sent out the message to forget about using skill just race as fast as you can regardless of others.
I’ve played whatever the current version of Horizon is pretty much everyday since FH1. I would happily play for hours on end. Currently with FH5 I’m done after 2 or 3 online racing CS and go play something else. I’m literally booting up FH5 daily for the MS reward points.
Race 3 ,Goliath, one drivatar took off in front and it took me until just before the windmill village to catch him.I passed him on a straight and he veered across the road and took my back wheels out, putting me in a field missing a cp,i finished 3rd. If they want players to improve their standards, they should start nearer to home.
And the **** ***** ******* keep colliding in other people’s challenges within the eliminator and obviously make you lose… Then you can’t even report because the name doesn’t appear. In short, you can not be more cowardly.
And if you’re reading this, go to the gym if you want to tap.
All this is solved by making the ghost cars in the challenges but then I remember that this is FH5 hahahahahaha.
Honestly, and I’ve said it before, Eliminator is the ONE mode in this “game” that I fully expect and accept anything and everything (except cheating of course) including interference in H2H races. It’s supposed to be a bloody blood fest battle to the death of all comers. No rules and nothing barred. It’s called Eliminator. It encourages nothing short of do whatever you want.
And besides all that I’ve seen enough entirely accidental collisions “interfere” with H2H to say it happens. IF the devs cared at all about the collisions and didn’t actually intend it then yes they might have made H2H ghosted. And no doubt some would complain about that too.
You are not without reason and your approach being the Eliminator is even logical, but it is frustrating when you have won a challenge and you lose it because another player insists on making you lose. Or in the final race they directly block the exit or they try to get you out xdd.
