Have you tried resetting your internet router?

Are you plugged in or does your console have a wireless thing going on?

It may not be that it has anything to do with your end at all.

Tried all that my friend

Hmm, well if it’s resolves I’d say it’s their end.

If not, try the google or Xbox Live Support?

Yeah buddy I can’t find a remedy for this my ports are all open on my modem I’m stummped

How is your Xbox One connected to your Internet device, wired or wireless? What Internet Service do you have from your provider, wired DSL or better, or wireless? What other traffic is on your network locally - other computers, someone streaming videos or music, cell phones? Our own local traffic can slow things down to the point that full functions are stymied on their connections.

I ask because, although we’ve got a really reliable Internet Service Provider, if our three daughters happen to be home for a holiday or weekend, we’ve suddenly got five cell phones, along with three laptops accessing my gateway with wireless connections, and even though my Xbox 360 and Xbox One are wired, all the traffic eats up the pipeline out to the Internet. The connection is simply throttled by traffic locally, nothing to do with any game or other external issue.

We used to have issues (Xbox 360 side) where people were connection to their modem/router/gateway device with wireless from the Xbox 360 (different room), and things like cell phones and even microwave ovens could interrupt the connection. A lot of cell phones can now connect wireless to the ISP hardware, and those need to be accounted for too in the traffic.

ALSO: Out of all your games or whatever else you’re doing, in the Dashboard, got into Settings, then Network to make sure the Current Network Status shows like “Wired, NAT Type: Open and All services available.” Next, select Detailed network statistics on the right side, and see what your report says. One tell-tale item would be MTU, which should be 1480.

I have Comcast blast I pull usually between 180 to 230 Mbps and I have my smart tv and my iPad, I run cat 6 Ethernet to my dual band ,mutual is 1480 my upload is at 78.77 my down is 233.27 0 packetloss

how often do you a proper hard reset of your console…easiest fix for most Xbone issues

Every other day

Good so far! Are you using the port forwarding for Xbox Live?

Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)

If you don’t have those set, consult your router/modem/gateway manufacturer’s website for who-to details.

I assumed if it said mat open the ports were open is that not the case? Btw thank you for helping me I appreciate it

There are lots of misleading things said about this, probably due to there not being a one size fits all answer because of different ISPs and routers.

I get open nat and good connection without opening those ports. So I have not messed with it on the xbox one.

Some people with open nat and not open ports get a bad connection.

So the safest thing is to open those ports and check for open nat.

If you do that and still have issues then you know it is somehting else causing the problem.

Also are you connecting wirelessly or hardwired?

Sorry iam Hardwired

Not necessarily on the NAT.

Ok that’s something iam unfamiliar with gonna have to research how to open the ports.

Do you have the technicolor router/modem combo? If so they just pushed a firmware update 3ish weeks ago and totally killed my forza online game play. Had all the ports forwarded NAT was open but it would either kick me right after I join a hopper or just not let me join(FM5 not horizon 2).

Once I got my arris modem reactivated and my own router hooked up it’s been working like a dream.

best of luck to you

Hey Seahawk, you quoted the text but didn’t reply…

As to the question, I believe he has said in the past that he is hardwired.

Thanks bud, She is the Stig lost her file she was lvl 786 ouch.

Did you have no connection issues for a while but then all of a sudden started having them?

Are you aware of anything having changed?

I would ask your ISP to reset your conneciton as a start - they may want you on the phone and it can take up to 20 minutes.
