SALEEN tune has been updated please refresh the tune.

Thanks

I took this for a spin around Sebring, and… Well in the other thread you asked for constructive feedback so I have to ask, “what’s up with the brakes?”. It feels like you have 70 or 80% rear bias or something. Maybe some trail braking gods can drive like this but I can’t.

Hi sorry about that I did re-work the tune today because of an issue with brakes and diff please update the tune and try again. I know it’s much better . I will continue to update tunes as needed and I will re post when I do . Thanks very much

Ok, I’ll retry tomorrow.
Just a FYI, there is still some confusion floating around about the brake bias in this game being reversed or backwords from previous Forzas.

Well just keep this in mind and it will make perfect sense:
IGNORE THE SLIDER, IGNORE THE SLIDER, IGNORE THE SLIDER!!
The % is all you need to know.
The % ALWAYS represents the force going to the REAR.
Example, 60% means 60% of the available braking force is going to the rear.

Nice job on the paint! Will check out the tune.

Thanks very much but I test the bakes in about 5 tracks and use telemetry and benchmarks so I am sure it’s fine and it has been tested by a few people and no one has complained about the brakes , I am this was perhaps more a diff problem that we sorted and changed soon after noticing .

Thanks very much again let me know how you get on with the update.

Cheers

Any feedback yet guys ?

Tune updated

Rank #13 on the ring at the moment but I am sure it will move down as it gets raced  (that was the first lap too not a rolling start ! And not a great lap ! )

Cheers

Any one tried this new tune at the ring yet?

new forum layout is confusing me where is the tune i’ll try it out maybe tonight jez hope you’re doing well long time no see

Hi mate

Tune is up where you download tunes from
.

Search NASTY for the s7 OR GT JEZNASTY .,

Cheers

Hi Jez…Just did 3 laps on the behemoth and I also had a hard time with the brakes.I don’t run any assists and usually run 130-140 on brake pressure…This was a good tune but even after 3 laps I couldn’t feel comfortable braking. It feels like the pressure is around 180 and the rear bias is about 70% to the rear. Could you maybe post another with lower pressure and maybe 55 to the rear. With a loose setup like this it’s hard to get used to…CC
P.S. I loved your S7 and CLK tunes in FM2

I did change the tune slightly after the first comments about brakes and I do understand frustration but I did try many settings with brakes and moving the pressure and bias with telemetry and driving but the benchmarks moved up to 20ft so would you like to brake longer and slower or faster but slightly more out of control ? For me tuning is getting the best out of the car not making it easy to drive or the game would be easier and not so demanding on tuning and driving . Tight and smooth slower / fast and loose is most of the time faster .

Get more used to the tune and that would be 10+ laps not 3 that may help you get better results . Although I use a pad and ABS and TC so that is the difference maybe

I took this car to Nurburgring and run 10 laps in tune to make it the best I could plus road Atlanta , alps and Le Mans . This is not a tight short track car . I do and will always run at least 10 laps on Nur to tune a car adjusting as I find issues .

Maybe a tune for getting fast times and a little out of control but fast is not for everyone .

Thanks for the feed back it’s most appreciated .

The brakes are 45% bias and 103% pressure . I run abs on though.

This is what I was trying to address in my earlier post:
There is no front brake bias adjustment, it’s always the rear.
If you have it set at 62%, that is 62% of the force to the rear.
That is a pretty severe rear bias.

Thanks for the reply…3 laps at Nurb+GP is a lot of braking.Don’t think these old hands could handle 10 laps…I just want to know if the pressure is really high….Say hi to Bram if he’s still around.

It’s just nurburgring not the gp too. It’s the 12 mile track not 16 .

Cheers

No the bias is the top bar and it’s towards the front not back it’s 45% then sorry I am working away so cannot see exact figures but the brakes work out to about 60% front and 40% back the slider is towarrards the front not back ! The pressure I know is 103%
