Nasty Motorsport SALEEN S7 (tune and brakes updated) top 50 NUR S-class

Thanks to Foot for explaining.I’m not fast and haven’t played Forza much the last couple months so probably a little rusty…Maybe the Saleen not having a very high aero contributes to it breaking loose easily.I would never have guessed 103 BP…So if what Foot is saying is true that means your bias is 62% to the rear. Thats probably what was making it hard for me……Anyways….Good luck with the tune and on the leader boards.

As soon as I get back Friday I will fix the brakes now I know and it will make the tune complete . I will post when it’s updated .
Thanks everyone !

JezNasty, just checked out the Saleen at Nurburgring and I must tell you it was a little bit of a challenge for a somewhat new driver in FM like me. I still need to get used to a lot of the “loose” tunes and get better driving skills, lol! Anyway, for my taste, the combination of the Diff (accel & decal) along wight he braking were providing me with a challenge to keep the car under control with all the “rear happiness” the car was feeling. Most of the med to advanced drivers I am sure can get used to this very quickly. Anyway, those are my 2 cents from a relatively “newbie”. Thanks for sharing!

p.s. Just noticed that you used ABS, TCS and Auto…all which I do not normally use. Will try out with different assists.

There is a brake problem we know about I will sort out when back on Friday then re post the tune update. I am sure that will help . Thanks

if you are going to continually change/tweak the tune you should open source it to save much time for many people.

Its too much a PITA to get downloading repeatedly. Then you have the load bugs etc.

All tunes need constant tinkingering and changing if no one changed the tune to make it better then why post anything and if people can’t be bothered to keep getting the update why would you take the time to get it In the first place , you would not bother , you want the best from a tuner and knowing he is always doing his best to make a tune better installs confidence they are always doing threre best for the people that like and trust those tunes . I will always try and make my tunes better because I want them to be the best and this is a great feedback tool for that medium as what is the point in feedback unless we use it to improve ourselves it’s just moaning and groaning otherwise ?

Cheers for the feedback but it is what it is FEEDBACK TO IMPROVE !

OI.

I said, if you are continually to tweak the tune you should OPEN SOURCE it.

The Storefront is broken. There are minimal save slots available.

At no point did I say, dont tune, dont improve, and stop it.

Lower your guard, drop your defenses.

The tune is constantly overwritten , not new to stop the slot problem .

Your feedback is appreciated and thank you .

I’m sorry you were caught in a bit of crossfire from an anther individual who annoyed the camp . My apologies if I sounded rude .

Thanks again .

For my Saleen S7 I run something like a bias of 54% with 200% pressure… just an Idea. =] A FYI, never-ever-ever, even if we all go mental - trust the benchmark!! It’s always been wrong and will never be right.
RR

Ran it with TCS.

The brakes as mentioned are really bad. The car is a little too stiff and the front gets bound up when turning sometimes (ease of steering). The diff may or may not be a little off as well, it oversteers in random spots late and it understeers on lift every once in a while. This is why you don’t benchmark a car by a leaderboard time when no one has ran the track yet. Wait until it fills up and then try to get the most of the car.

Thanks for your feedback i will look into your points and get back to you with possible solutions .

Thanks again .

All I got to say is haters will always be haters and lovers will always be lovers until they get burned then they turn into haters to hide there pain !

Life is life and we came back to drive fast and share knowledge as we have only been back tuning/painting a week and things are different I appreciate all feedback so we can improve which is a part of growing and understanding . Old feuds should stay buried and digging up the past serves no purpose other than to rial and intimidate with petty innuendo .

If your going to hate fine but try and sound constructive rather than coming across negative , petty and boring .

Looking forward to fast racing , great tunes and fun times . All else is just boring and will be ignored unless you drive on our lawn and then you will get burned .

Love , peace and continue driving like your hairs on fire ! Amen !

LMFAO, see the medication still isn’t working. There is no feud.nor hatred for you. I don’t recall any in FM2 either. Was an observation made in FM5 based on your confusion with brake bias. Sorry if you have thin skin, guess things never change.

Perhaps instead of calling people haters, you may want to take some time to get familiar with the new physics and PI that FM5 has to offer, and shake some of the rust off from not playing in a while. Is Kass the driver who set the time? Didn’t see your name up there?

My time in the leaderboards may of moved position as I set the time on Tuesday and I have been working away and not been able to check ,

You stated that I took my tunes from VVV! . Is that a laugh no it’s a slander and did you do it in jest ? I don’t think so ? I am not going to encode myself in a battle on the forums it’s a pointless waist of effort so think what you like but atleast have the back bone to admit that you probably said something that was taken personally yes but any attack on someone’s ability and even if unintentionally dumb enough to think it was a funny one is both negative and embarrassing to the person that wanted a reaction no matter how small .

I really enjoyed my Saleen s7 tune and released it after I was consistently winning online games
As I thought people may like it and did not notice a problem with the brakes for myself as I thought it was just a change of physics in the game !

Now I know the reason behind the tuning change I can adjust it to compensate thanks to gtwoots input and constructive feedback which is always appreciated .

Please in future keep your negative poking(even if in jest) off our lawn or I will get my mower out (lol) joke  .

Cheers .

I certainly hope that last post was intended for me as I actually took your car out and drove it.

No mate your all good you gave constructive critism and that’s appreciated as we can use it to adapt and learn and improve ,

That was targeted at the haters who have come on here just to attack based on old feuds from many a moon ago which I thought was all done but from some perspectives apparently not lol .

Thanks again for your feedback mate.

SALEEN S7 tune updated brakes fixed and added a supercharger ! Please give feedback now and see if your happy with the tune now please

Cheers

Much better, brakes feel great! I was on pace for a PB at Sebring (beating my own tune) but I spun the tires exiting the final turn. I need to try again with TCS.

Great happy you like it and thanks for the advice and for pointing me in the right direction it’s much appreciated !

JezNasty - just checked it out again, and, great improvement. Will run it in several tracks in addition to Nurburgring. Again, thanks for sharing.
