Name a small, trivial detail ABOUT YOU while you play FM2023 that bugs you

What ‘glitch’ do YOU suffer from?

Mine: resting my foot on the clutch pedal while I sail into turn 1 on lap 1, only to realize it is not the brake pedal.

Forgetting to hit all my braking and turning points after a lap where I beat my time. Nothing like setting my fastest time, immediately to follow it up with my slowest time. LOL

Not remembering which cat has sport/race tires. But it’s also a UI problem.

Spending too much time on tuning trying to perfect the feel of the car I will never drive again.

Sacrificing competitive edge for looks, just because I can’t tolerate how most of the cars look with Forza aero

Im at my fastest and consistent when i completely zone out and day dream. Problem is this is not fun for me.

So I saw the topic heading and immediately got annoyed and started cursing out the forum moderators… what is this?, who do they think they are editing my post and even changing the heading?
what are they making fun of me.??
man I REALLY hate this stuff anymore… MSN’s forums are constantly messing with my posts, Facebook does the same thing.
I AM SO SICK OF ALL THIS CENSORSHI… oh!, this is someone else’s post.

now since that’s been clreared up in my own head…
mine would be completely missing the perfect line on a turn
because I was too preoccupied thinking about the perfect line
I was going to take on the turn.

Umhealthy fixation of clean laps. So much so that I probably slow myself down.

At first, its about hitting your turn in and braking points, and then carrying as much speed as possible. Focusing on staying clean will distract you from seeing the fastest way to handle each corner. Don’t stress being clean if you have an off. Remember what you did wrong, and adjust for the next lap.

After that refine your lines so you are as smooth and as quick as possible.

There is a flow to a fast lap. Even someone who’s racing lines are flirting with an off track violation, they’ve practiced that lap until they could drive it without looking at the screen.

that i can’t move on to another car until i get the previous one up to 50. currently have 300 cars untouched in my garage that i plan on getting to someday.

Tuning the same car. I tune a car, feels pretty ok. After few days I think it could be better so I spend hour, two or more tuning it again. And again. And again. Sometimes it’s a bit better after new tune, sometimes worse, endless loop.

Same. Every tune is a never-ending work-in-progress. :wrench:

Thanks for that.
Used to be world class ranked in overall leaderboards Forza 1 - 2 - 3 - 4
150th Forza 1 (I probably could have been top 20 if I used the CRX that was glitched for 3 classes)
250th Forza 2
17th Forza 3 They wiped all the leaderboard cars, and I never use leaderboard cars.
2000 Forza 4

I kinda know how to drive. I slow myself down, because at this point in racing I hate wasting laps because I brush a wall or push the apex to much..

Im too considerate for my own good about other racers & no matter what I ALWAYS get Helmets in every lobby I race in.

Ending up at the back racing all by myself.

Enjoying it “All back of the bus & s**t”

Level 10 will get you enough points to upgrade tyres or do a bunch of other stuff.

Personally I levelled most manufacturers to 25% discount by now that have at least 5+ cars in the game. It took a while but it’s much more fun to play now.

I refuse to do this cuz I’d spend more time moving sliders than driving

I prefer racing wherever the lunatics don’t. If that’s at the back, then so be it.

I’m too polite while overtaking. If there’s any contact that I think may have upset the other drivers car while passing them, I will give the position back.

This has lead to many good battles and several races stuck in the back.

I don’t know if this counts, but after all this time with this game I still can’t convince myself that racing others is more fun than driving completely solo.

I find that MP races are full of mostly nice players. Unfortunately the few other sort of players really make a mess sometimes. :frowning:

I used to love to just hot lap. Nothing better than trying to find that awesome line for that car.

Multiplayer is awesome with a group of likeiminded people.
