My (almost) No Forza Aero Tuning Shop/Project Multiclass

Don’t feel like ugly aero? No 24-inch rims? Do you want to drive something different than the boring META cars?
Then get a tune of mine from the internet and go all out in the longer Multiclass races. Here they come into their own because they are not on racing tyres and therefore do not have to go to the pits during the race. Of course, a soft race tyre is slightly faster over one lap, but a race lasts longer, so if you finish the race, you have the advantage.

Yes, my sales pitch is just as good as my racing skills. I know, fantastic.
But I would like to invite you to take a look at my Multiclass tunes.

It’s quite a big project, and I always keep tinkering with it, but are you looking for well-balanced cars that can keep up with the best 10% of the tunes? Then you’ve come to the right place. All of them have no Scalable Forza aero, so the car also looks normal/not forza aero ugly.

I have shared a lot of tunes, not everything is up to date. And some are really bad. If you are interested in the latest and greatest, you can search under

Filename: Multiclass with the corresponding class in front. For example S800 Multiclass or B600 Multiclass.

Some still have the front forza aero, but i’m changing them all to stock aero or full no forza aero.

I’m curious about your experiences. my goal is to give a counterpoint to all META cars. Do you find good cars on certain circuits? Let me know. Do you want a certain car or is it not at all what you are looking for in terms of setup? Let me know too.
Do you want a car and certain class combination? Let me know, and I’ll get to work.

I myself can keep up with almost all cars in the multiclass hopper. Sometimes there is someone with a Meta car who wins, but honestly I don’t count certain people and cars as competition in the multiclass lobby.
They only drive the same car, I try to use all my cars. The good the bad and also the very ugly. I think I have a lot more fun in the game because of the variety. You’d be surprised how competitive most cars are if you find a good balance.
For example, try out my S800 4WD Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 on Sebring. Its fun winning with that one. The stats of cars don’t tell the true story, you have to drive them to know what works and what doesn’t.

This applies to both the tune and the driver. My tips for fast laps on non-race tyres?

  • Don’t go into the corner too quickly. Everyone thinks there is too much understeer in the game, I don’t think so. You can go into the corner way too fast, then there is no stopping the understeer that occurred. If you are a little more moderate with approaching the corner, your lap time will improve.
  • Do not use your accelerator until you are sure that you no longer need to let go of the accelerator or brake. If this is not yet the case, just let the car roll through the corner without braking or accelerating.

The on-time brake and decisive throttle technique is much faster than throttle, braking, throttle, braking. This only creates more understeer and you cannot make optimal use of a higher speed when exiting a corner to the next straight.
Of course, this differs per corner combination, but these are actually the most common mistakes made while driving. Driving, both in real life and in Forza should be smooth and fluid. The more you fight with the car, the slower your lap time.

If you’ve made it all the way here, thanks for reading, the reason for all this is because I think the game will be more fun if there are more people just driving what they like and doing what they like.
Winning is not always the most fun part of a race. A nice car and 1 or 2 equal drivers around you is all you need to keep you busy for 20 minutes.
Let those few who want to drive with META cars at the front go. If you really want to be competitive, you have to go to the other lobbies with GT3, GT2 and Touring cars. Multiclass is a lot of fun with many different cars.

All this is of course just my opinion. See you on the track.

Hey,
I do recall you from some Multi-Class lobbies.
Great to see someone else following the same philosophy of running no aero & no big ugly rims street/sport tires.

With the lower level of competition in Multi-Class it’s open for nearly every car.
Currently running a S no aero RWD Revuelto on streets that’s really fun to drive but would be hopelessly underperforming against the meta show in Open Class.

Good luck with your project.

Multi class was the place to run all kinds of cars and builds until today. The X2 tire wear multiplier they’ve just added basically means everyone will be running race tires

It’s probably worth listing some of your cars here. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to search for all cars someone has tuned so it needs to be a car by car search.

Now fixed, which is good news.

I got that car to A and the gold leader to c. (gold leader in c is ok).

I have tuned almost all cars that are allowed to participate in the Velocity Series for Week 2 – Exotic GT Classics, Max 800 PI.
A few exceptions for those cars that really wouldn’t make sense in the S800 class.
Maybe I’ll work on it this week, but I don’t like changing the engine or changing the intake method of the car.

Tuned cars

Bugatti EB110 Super Sport
Ferrari Enzo Ferrari
Ferrari F50
Ferrari F40
Jaguar XJ220
Jaguar XJ220S TWR
Jaguar Sport XJR-15
Lamborghini Diablo SV
Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV
Maserati MC12
McLaren F1
Nissan R390 (GT1)
Porsche Carrera GT
Porsche 959

I tuned all but 2 cars for Week 3 – Modern Exotic GT, Max 800 PI.

The GMA can go to S800 on street tires. I didn’t do that one though.. I just can not Frankenstein that beauty of a analogue Supercar.
The Lotus is also absent, simply because it can’t get to S800.

Here is a list of all the cars tuned to S800. There are engine and drive-train swaps among them, but no Forza Aero.
Some of them are real gems, have a look and find your favorite.

I will be racing the series a lot. See you at the starting line.

2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupe
2020 Ferrari SF90 Stradale

Unfortunately the GMA is absolutely dominant for most tracks.
The combination of insane mechanical grip and no drag obliterates everything else.

The Astons , McLaren and Lambos are at the lower end.
But at least the Reventon will rip at Le Mans.

Good to know. Didn’t try the GMA in S800, but I think i’m going to. It had very strange stats as I recall. Wil have a look tomorrow.

GMA has more grip on street tires than any of the other cars on sports - absolutely busted.

Added the 2022 Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 to S800.
It is a very good car. Reminds me of the McLaren F1 long tail..

Also the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a awesome S800 car. Thanks Turn 10 for not messing the upgrades up so the car wasn’t compatible in S800.
On that subject, the 2022 Pagani Huayra R can use a air flow restrictor/upgrade or something to get in in to any class. Now its just hanging around doing nothing.. There isn’t a way to upgrade it to any class.

I do remember that I once raced against that Reventon of yours at Le Mans. I think I saw it briefly at the start.
I never really make power cars but who knows, maybe I’ll look at that too.

Maybe I’m missing something but the 911 GT3 RS doesn’t seem to be particularly fast at S800.
It has good grip for a road car but it’s nothing compared to the handling meta. They always have high mechanical grip and low weight compared to the GT3 with high aero grip and relatively high weight.

Its power/weight ratio is among the weakest of all S class cars and just around the average A class value.
Meaning its acceleration is dreadful which gives it a hard time on many tracks.

Scored the slowest S800 time of all Porsche RS models at the Nordschleife. It seems to have the same issues as in Horizon. Not good enough for handling tracks and completely underpowered for everything else.

Oh. I didn’t mean META fast either. I just meant that sometimes cars are added that are useless in all classes because you can’t get close to the PI. The Pagani is an example of this. It can’t go to R900, but it can’t go to 999 either. So unless you have a single car race class, it is of no use to you at all.

I am a big Porsche enthusiast and am already happy that it does not get stuck half between 2 classes. In S800 it is just a nice car, the weight distribution is really a porsche. I don’t think the DRS effect has been applied in the game. So you always have maximum downforce. It would have made a big difference if that was possible, grip in corners, a higher top speed on the straights. Then the weight would not have been the problem.

Have you tried to make an R900 car out of it? I assume he comes into his own better there? Haven’t looked at it myself yet, it’s on the to do list.

Not yet. @Jezza14 did though and he wasn’t convinced that it’s doing much at R900.
Probably already above its performance level - which is a strange thing to say about such a car. But it’s Forza and thus a metal tube on 4 wheels from the 60s is times better than a high-tech machine.

No, you’re not missing something. It’s very average for S class.

I thought it would make a decent sport tire build with the engine swap and 6.5 handling but it was a good second or so off the pace to be competative.

Went back to the stock engine and it’s a little better but still not great.

That’s unfortunate and strange. Then there is nothing else to do than hope that the Porsche Cup Car that, I assume, will be added with the Porsche update is a good race car.

And the 935 back.. Because Turbo power.

I expect the GT3 R to be equal to the other 3 911 GT3 race cars.
They are pretty neat at S800 on softs. Way better than the road legal counterparts.

For the rest I expect the general Forza rule to apply: “the older the better”.
917/20 “Pink Pig”, 906, 935.
Regardless of which we are getting they will be good - like the 917 LH we already have.
