Does anyone make good, grip oriented no aero tunes? I haven’t been able to find many at all, the ones I have found have ridiculous rims or other ugly bumpers and such installed, I’m looking for mostly stock appearance tunes.
Hi if you’d like to take a look at my store front JC25041983 you’ll likely find something suitable as I have over 100 different tunes on my storefront.
I tend to focus on performance, with my main goal being improving power to weight. I tend to use a certain rim in all of my tunes but it’s because they’re lighter and so reduces unsprung weight. I don’t tend to use aero or bodykits as the majority of them tend to add weight.
The only time I tend to do cosmetic modifications is when there is a lighter bonnet available.
PTG Jamie does quite a few, I have just finished the E36 M3 and Silvia S14 but both are wide body no aero.

I agree, you need to look up PTG Jamie. He is pretty much one of the masters of no aero stock looking tunes. He is easily one of the top tuners within the Forza series for just about everything. He has been around since Forza started.
79 Camaro, DLC Ford falacon, and Mazda rx-8 posted the past few days have no aero. Camaro and falcon are in C and Mazda is in A. Mazda will be shared today most likely.
None are grip tunes per say but grip way better than they should and thus are good everywhere just about.
I don’t build specifically for grip because that’s not how you’re supposed to build cars in this game. I also don’t worry about weight because once again it doesn’t matter in this game. Worrying about weight I found was a great way to make a slower car.
The Camaro being heavy already has one top 20 I know about and another that won’t show up because my Ford Falcon beat it. The Falcon is one of my best tunes and I had fun doing the 100 miles 10 event achievement with it. If I recall it will top 5 or 10 goliath despite not being an all out speed tune.
Not sure about the Mazda but it seems quick. Need to do another championship before letting it loose.
Once again, get the Falcon though. It’s a beast and looks great with gas monkey paint job.
All above mentioned tuners are very good choices. I wouldn’t put myself there, but I have a few non aero tunes on my store front. A couple are, more than a handful S1 RWD, street rod, 1000hp craziness, but there fun. Like my Dr Jekyl, Mr Hyde Syclones, lol.
I’ve build a few that are actually pretty good in the lower classes, both RWD and AWD. I just finished an A Class RWD '93 Cobra.
As I said, I’m not up there with these guys, but every once in a while I hit on a very good build/tune. At least they usually look good!! Lol

I’m noticing for me, as I’m building more cars, I am trying to keep aero off up to S1, even then I’m stubbornly trying without aero first. I’m not the tuner most of you are, but still.
