Funny though i really like the music in 7, in the others that was good but not really memorable.
Here i find myself hearing it in my head, even when not playing.So good point on making an impression.

It`s perfectly in line with the rougher, less sterile style of the game.
And I am surprised I am still not sick of it, despite being rather distinct.

Aren’t we just getting tired of listening to the same old rock-style music over and over again? Honestly, I really had enough of this boredom and I can’t wait any longer anymore! We need OneDrive/Spotify right now! And I mean NOW!

I love the music in FM7, it’s more dynamic and engaging than FM6. I would prefer to listen to my own if I’m honest but I don’t like constantly taking earphones in and out between races. Forza 6’s soundtrack was very good as well and so was FM5’s actually but if you go way, way back I think Forza 2 nailed it. I may have posted this before in this thread, not too sure though, but another completely unrelated game, Titanfall 2* had an option where you could switch between the classic frontier defense music of Titanfall 1 or keep with the new music in Titanfall 2…
Though I can’t see Turn 10 Studios doing what Respawn did with their music. However FM’s music isn’t copy right (I believe) so I can’t see a reason why they can’t but I just don’t think they will.
Just because the soundtrack is not “Eurocrap” music does not mean its bad.
It is a good soundtrack.

You can install Spotify on XB1 and control it from the Xbox Guide button or your phone …
All the previous Forzas have their soundtracks on Spotify too if your preference is one of the older games too …
Not bad music, but very repetitive and very, very annoying after 50-60 hours in the game.
Unlike Forza 4 or 6, this radio-rock kind of music doesn’t suit the game in the long run, really.
More suitable for TV Shows that plays them during 5 minutes, not for hundreds of hours in-game.
And i’m a huge Led Zeppelin and other 70-80’s heavy metal aficionado, so it has nothing to do with my tastes, it just doesnt fit in the game past a few hours.

The music isn’t bad, it’s just that whenever I hear it, all i can think of is a guy in a racing suit doing the pee-pee dance and stretching around in front of my car during a loading screen. Or stopped at a red light, if i were to listen to the soundtrack in my car.
IMO FM6’s soundtrack is 10x better. It’s almost like a Hollywood movie’s soundtrack. In FM7 I turned the music off the second I heard it, just couldn’t stand it. Also FM3 had great soundtrack as well.

Some of the menu music is borrowed from another game… Sitting there listening to the music for the first time as i was painting, i realised i was humming along to this “new” tune.
That’s because it was from Moxxi’s bar in borderlands 2!
So they didn’t even make new music, what did they spend two years making?
Apart form the addition of loot crates, and 1 new track, I’m honestly wondering what took them two years to make this game, and still have it unfinished, with features “coming soon”.
It really does beggar belief!
