When ever starting the game fresh, the wheel has a deadzone in the middle and feels very light and not as accurate as it could.
You have to turn on and off the wheel base while being ingame on the track, sometimes once, often 2-3 times.
This will remove the deadzone completely and make the FFB way more pronounced and strong.
I’m guessing this has something to do with the game not recognizing the wheel correctly.
I’ve experienced this on the R3 aswell
Appears to have a couple degrees of deadzone in the middle
On my r3 on pc and friends R9 also on pc
In and out deadzones set to where they should be
Has also been talked about by others on moza discord
I am the Nittendedel person in the screenshot. I managed to make it feel far better when removing the deadzone in the settings. Mine was at 1 and turned it to 0. I still kind of think there is a slight bit of a ‘deadcentre’ though. Before mine was like 20 degrees to the right and left of no turning so removing the deadzone fixed that, however it could still feel better.
Thanks for the info but i don’t think any of us has deadzone in the steering settings.
That’s what i check on day one of playing a game.
The turning wheel off while driving then turning it on sometimes regains that missing feeling in the middle
But should not have to do this
Again multiple moza models are affected by this
moza and some other wheels needs to be restarted in race because alighnment feedback seems like turned off, other feedbacks work (mech and pneum trail etc). You need turn off wheel in race, then alt+tab, return to race and turn wheel on every time you restart game. This bug here for year now, fix pls, all of youtube bloggers with wheels sayd about it and i registered to say this, thx. A lot of people do not play this game because of this
You know what’s sad?
I’ve reported this 4 months ago already.
Posted it in Moza Discord and other guys also voted for it…
The devs just absolutely don’t care to fix this.
It’s here if you wanna vote on it too

I’m using a R9 and have the same issue, deadzone in the center that doesn’t go away no matter the settings used in game or in the wheel software.
Be careful with that, i stopped doing it since it killed my USB cort and yes, that’s no joke, never happened to me in over 20years of gaming, but this “fix” was able to do it.
Luckily i had one spare cable at home.
Hi! It’s really funny that it works like that, but it helped me. So, what I did was: I turned on the experimental “Forza compatibility mode” feature in Pit House, set the angle to 1440, reactivated the steering wheel in the in-game settings and assigned the buttons. Yes, in compatibility mode, nothing works natively Now I have almost normal feedback. It is still hard and rough and there is a dead zone in the middle, but I feel the car. And yes, ahahaha, if you reboot the steering wheel database several times on the track, the dead zone disappears. I am still struggling with feedback, looking for the optimal settings and have already spent a lot of time on this, but it has become pleasant to drive. Although my time on different tracks is 3-5 seconds worse than in serious simulators. And everything would be fine if the guy above had not said that such switching led to a breakdown. This scares me. and all this is one big joke of us
You could join the Moza Discord, i’ve shared pithouse settings there which nearly eliminate the dead center.
its about time we get some sort of acknowledgement from turn 10, white cranks pithouse settings are not the solution, we have given you guys enough to go on, get on to it
Hi, I have a problem with the FFB of Moza R3, both in ACC and FM the FFB dsappear suddenly or become weak… where can I found your Moza set up?
Moza Discord
Link to message or settings please? I just got an r5, and am very close to refunding it.
There you go
R9 V2 + CS V2P + SRP same problem here.
I have placed in-game and pithouse presets on the MOZA discord to with mr. White.
But EVERYTIME i start up the game, the wheel feels differrent.
So i go into my usual routine with this game and change some advanced settings in-game around to see if that fixes it, but to no avail.
So eventually i’m so sick of it that i set my old settings back and just work with the handicapped settings for that night, so i can atleast do a race.
Don’t get me started about the defaults…
For a Racing Simcade game from 2023, you would atleast expect proper wheel support.
I’m not mad son, i’m just disappointed.
issue still persists
not sure if its worth mentioning but the calibration does not give the same values as other games, for example wheel set to 540 forza thinks its 510ish
EDIT tonight was showing correct values, weird, ffb deadzone definitely still a thing, power cycle 1-4 times tends to fix it
