I’ll give it a try. I wanted to help some others get the Mosler so I’ll enjoy the effort.
I’m about 10 seconds a lap quicker than unbeatable drivatars in the Senna. Other players aren’t the only ones that get lapped there in 5 lapped races. While the drivatars struggle with turns, the Senna takes a lot of 'em flat out. I’ll run my Centenarios there, though, and see what kind of times I get. If it does lap it faster, it would only be because of that long straight at the end of the lap.

If you’re gonna run The Trial, you need a car that can withstand lots of abuse, because the championship is an open battle between humans and AI. The Centenario is heavier, AWD and more powerful. Holyrood Park is not an easy track for S2 cars and it usually comes down to a race of attrition, so I’d feel more confident in the Centenario.

I did mine in a P1 which is much faster than the Senna and handles pretty damn well. P1 and 918 are my 2 main S2 vehicles. The car that I had an issue staying ahead of or catching up to was the Regera. That damn thing flies, everything else was easy to pass
I’m not very good in the P1 or the Regera. I don’t know what it is about those cars. The 918 is a sweet ride, I forgot about that as an option.
This all could have been avoided. Someone made a very poor decision. Think PG, think before you do. Over and over you do not seem to get this.

Just want to throw a quick “thank you” to SatNiteEduardo - that Centenario build is lovely, and has resulted in a shiny new Mosler in my garage. Thanks, man.

I have since returned my Senna and it is quicker but I still feel more confident in the Centenario.
I also tried the only front engine hypercar but it’s pretty bad lol. Quite a plodder.

Just my suggestion.
You don’t have to use 998 PI Hypercar for winning this event.
Why? because drivatar will use Similar PI cars as Players’ car by one by one. (Example. if PIs in your team were 998, 998, 950, 948, 906 and 880, Drivatar team will be like 987, 982, 942, 939, 900 and 872.)
First of all, you don’t have to beat Every Drivatars. only thing you should do is Beat One (or more) drivatar that has similar PI to your car.
So, overall, If you’re very skilled player who can manage to beat enemies very easily, you should use Very high PI car.
If you’re fairy skilled player but not confident enough to control 998 PI cars, you should use 930~960 PI cars for much makes easier to beat your Opponents.
and If you’re not skilled enough but want to use Mosler so badly, you should use S1 AWD Hypercar. which is Aventador. this really makes easy to beat Drivatars that has similar PI to your car. also it could prevent to losing incase Skilled players are crashed or something.
Car Suggestion is i would say Lambos. Reason is, Lambo is much easier to drive and Stable. also has very-fast Launch speed and could overtake all Drivatars very easily from the start.
Senna is pretty fast car at the cornering, but i don’t recommend to use Senna if you aren’t skilled enough. so, use Lambos. Lambos Everywhere.
Despite the fact it was my very first FH Multiplayer race, i used 998 Centenario upgraded by me then dominated Drivatars very easily along with other 998 Player even other players were like 10th, 11th and 12th pos.
Overall, You don’t have to beat All drivatars. Just try to not to be Last place. All you had to do is just beat the Drivatars that has similar PI to you.
Just think as 1v1 against similar PI drivatar. instead of 6v6. but don’t forget to let them pass for faster player than you. it’s much important and helpful for your teammates.
Oh, also it sounds may be a harsh, but Do a practice. if you hate to losing against Drivatars as a team because of yourself, just practice. S1 Fullstock Aventador is very easy-to-use car with reasonable price for a Hypercar.
If you’re confident enough to beat every drivatars, please go ahead and use whatever do you want and lead the team for everyone!

You should always use a low PI car in these co-op events, even if you are a skilled driver! That way you give your lesser skilled teammates a chance to beat more drivatars.
Thank you for your opinion. i partially agree with you and i thought same exact thing as yours once. but it has fatal downside.
If it was 6-players within Friends, it must work very fine. but thing is, It’s public and you can’t conference about strategy with your teammates. so, even if good players used Low PI cars, it has chance to getting Very high PI car with… ehm inexperienced players. since that, even you are very skilled player, there is no chance to beat against 980PI with 880PI and inexperienced player could be 12th (or ragequit) even with 998 PI. it’s much risky.
So, it should be…
Very skilled player = 980+
Skilled player = 930~979
Less skilled player = 901~929
Inexperienced player = 899-
Like i mentioned, it’s like 1v1 instead of 6vs6. only opponent you have to beat is similar PI to your car instead of every opponents. it’s much safety, reliable and no need to communicate with your teammates before event is begin (which is impossible anyway due to matchmaking is automatic unless you’re in convoy…)
Also correction to myself. i also recommend to use Porsche 918 Hybrid. that car is much easier to use than Centenario.
It might be more risky to go with a low PI car, but if you do that you are doing something good for the community. You are leading by example, teaching people to do the right thing. It may be an impossible task, I don’t know, but I like it when people are doing the right thing.

First: It’s just my suggestion. i’m not forcing my thought. seems you’re taking my suggestion too seriously… unfortunately. or maybe you took my suggestion wrongly.
Second: Like i said, i’m talking about in Public case, a Public CO-OP play. public means there will be ehm inexperienced players with S2 998. even if you’re skilled enough, you have very small chance to stand against S2 980 Unbeatable drivatar with S1 900 car especially in Sprint race. which is more riskier.
Third: again, like i said, YOU don’t have to beat every Drivatars to winning the Trial. Only drivatar you have to beat is Similar PI to your car. like i explained, Drivatar team cars will be similar PI to player team cars. i have explained about this before. so, please read my quote again.
Also there is no rules like you have to beat drivatar team by 1000+ points. even you beat them by just 50 points, it still win. that’s why i used the term that “It’s 1v1 against drivatar that having similar PI to you. instead of 6v6.”
Oh, also i’d like to remind that “Your position when race has ended will be affected to Points even you’re DNF.”
Fourth: I don’t think S2 998 car is very easy to drive for inexperienced players. that’s why i suggested this along with Aventador. which is very easy to handle for inexperienced players. S1 means much slower than S2 = much easily to drive and fight compare to S2 vs S2 race. also “SIMILAR PI” drivatars will be much slower. it also prevents to S2 998 inexperienced player becomes last place.
Imagine if enemy had 6 different 980+ S2 cars. if you’re experienced, you could beat everyone of them easily. but IF you’re not-much experienced by any means (such as Skills and Knowledge of tuning and what car to use), then unbeatable 980+ drivatars will be pesky foe to you. that’s why i JUST suggested to use S1 or mid-S2 cars because drivatars will use smilar PI cars to yours by one by one.
Also IF you’re experienced but you had bad luck and missed checkpoint by rammed by your teammates or something, there will be very less chance to catching up Six 980+ Unbeatable drivatars before race is ended. but if drivatars had lesser PIs, there’s fair chance to catching up few drivatars.
TL:DR - Just think about beat at least one or more drivatar, don’t be a last place and use car that suitable for your skills if you are not experienced enough.

I got your point, man. I even gave you credit for it. I am however afraid that you didn’t get mine. I’m not going to write exactly the same thing again though, like you just did.
This championship isn’t all that hard anyway. I have now done it three times, in S1 cars, and my team has won every time. So apparently you don’t even need to screw it up for your teammates by making your drivatar opponent high PI to win this championship.

I’m talking about Inexperienced players, man. not experienced players. S2 998 is pretty hard for inexperienced players. i’m saying this despite of my experience. because my team had Fullstock Senna with low-level that had 12th place twice. that’s why i suggested this along with Aventador.
Even this championship is easy for us, not for beginners. especially against Unbeatable drivatars on fast-track.
Since matchmaking is automatic and having a chance to getting team with 5/6 inexperienced players with S2, Inexperienced players rather try to get better place with S1 car instead of 12th place with S2 car = much safer. that’s all.
Also i’d like to remind you that if even you took 1st, but your teammates had terrible places, you can’t win the race due to lack of points.
I ran 918, I would advise to run wings and twin turbo rather than weight reduction to make it more stable.
I don’t have much success with light cars in Forza Horizon, they’re easy to upset.
Was lucky to get some decent team members and won it on the first try.
The AI couldn’t do anything against my Centenario (no-aero AWD V12 R swap).
Sadly the Mosler has too high lateral g’s for S2. Thus, way too slow.
I got it after 2 tries, used a Porsche 918 (998PI).
What do you think about the Mosler itself?
I think its awesome, got top 100 in some speed traps and im faster on Colossus than in my 720PO and 911PO (in X-Class).
Try number 4, my own teams taking each other out every time. Sheer stupidity. If you lose 2 in a row why does it not end??? Fix the game already!!! You are jerks PG, don’t know how else to put it.
