More paint material types in groups and vinyls

A metallic paint option without having to adjust the metal flake color. The ability to have different finishes on decals (matte, chrome, etc.). Having more manufacturer decal options including the performance division options for applicable cars (TRD, Nismo, etc.) and the ability to customize the colors and finishes on those.

Overall, sliders to adjust the amount of shine/metallic/pearl/mica effect on a paint, sliders to adjust properties of multitone paints, like varying amounts of tones in a colour which would be incredibly useful for recreating NIssanā€™s Midnight Purple or Alfa Romeoā€™s Nuvola Blue, and finally better paint divisions because we shouldnā€™t have to scroll for a good minute through camo colours to get to metal (aluminium, steel, etc.) colours

Iā€™m not sure if this specific part of the livery creator has recieved its topic here, I certainly havenā€™t found anything fully matching my vision here.
Forza hasnā€™t seen any major changes to the paint creator menu since Motorsport 5. We still have our 2013 ā€œStandard Paintsā€, ā€œSpecial Paintsā€ and ā€œManufacturer Paintsā€ groups in Horizon 5, and the ā€œSpecial Paintsā€ group has gotten quite overcrowded with Spectraflame colours, camo paints, metal colours and multitone colours shoved into the same category. Whatā€™s very much missing from X360 Forza titles is Metallic and OG Special colours, the latter being the closest weā€™d been to varying multitone paint amounts, since different Special colours featured different secondary paint visibility.
Upcoming Forza Motorsport was said to be ā€œthe most advanced racing game to dateā€, and I genuinely wish this could be true, as there are too many things that need to fundamentally change compared to past Motorsport titles, one of them being the Paint menu. Motorsport 2023 needs manually adjustable paint effects, like metallic and pearl effects, more multitone effects and adjustable paint structure to get chrome or metallic matte. Players should be able to recreate their beloved real life special colours like Midnight Purple III, Mystichrome, Azzuro Nuvola or Reflex Purple with as much accuracy as possible.

Hello everyone.
Iā€™m Ryan and me like to paint liverys in game, in Forza Horizon 5 i have 344K donwloads vinyls and 5-6K group Vinyls.
I think vinyl manager in Forza the best in racing games, BUT i canā€™t to create a lot of my ideas. I canā€™t to painted on glass and add more materials for vinls: Chrome, Mate, Gold ā€¦
we desingers to use life hack for this, add color for car in chrome or mate and to create vinyls use mask vinyl and this not convenient.
and i cant to add vinyls on glass
.
PGG and Tern10, do u can make more materials in vinyl manager? I know, this is only programing
but for glass you need remade all 3d models cars, i know like to this work in games, i make car mods for NFS series games.
.
#2 we need new system popular vinyls, iā€™m see in game like to bad vinyl from movie have a lot of downloads and really nice job have small downloads

I would really like to be able to add flourescent colours, like Simon Pagenaud use to have in Indy car

Metallic for vinyl that matches metallic paint for cars would be nice. Then I could fix the factory paint stripes on the sides of the Toyota Trueno front bumper that has for some reason not been put on to properly represent the factory ā€˜High-tech Two Toneā€™ aka panda paint design. Poor representation of Toyota product.

Almost a year later, now knowing the Livery Creator and Paint Editor havenā€™t recieved any well deserved improvements, Iā€™d even say theyā€™re worse than they used to be due to inaccurate and inconsistent colours everywhere, I think a Paint Editor update would be very appreciated.

Amazing we donā€™t have more paint effects in game, or metalllic vinyl even. This game looks better in most part to hdr, however if you play this on a non hdr monitor it looks terrible. Shocking how backwards the game has gone.

I completely agree. The new Forza Motorsport has the exact same features for customization in 2023 while games like Need For Speed have added many different color options like Metallic, Fine Metal flake, and different types of carbon which are all highly customizable. Also, there should be different options for the customization background as grey doesnā€™t really show the potential of the different custom builds.

At the very least, Forza needs to bring back Metallic colours. I think itā€™s easier than many people think, considering Normal Colours are glitched on most wheels, making them appear like metallic colours would. Now make it its own thing and put it on all other surfaces.

I used to customize the metallic flake colors in past games in order to have ā€œalmost like realā€ metallic paint. But on this iteration I felt the metallic flakes are extremelly proeminent, thus making the paint look cartoonish (almost like the Spectraframe from FH5).

Would be really cool to finally be able to use special colours when making logos and decals for cars, long have i wanted to be able to make Chrome stickers without having the exhausting task of making outlines for a chrome car instead!

Theyā€™re now deleting the closest thing to Metallic colours on broken surfaces, such as many stock wheels
