I am aware similar threads have been made on this topic but I feel it needed expanding on to include information that some may not be aware of so please don’t delete.
Before the release of Forza Motorsport 5 in 2013 a picture was shown here on the forums by the developers of a Ford Focus sporting all the special paints that were going to be available in game.
Unfortunately when the game arrived those paints were only able to be used in the main paint section so the picture used to promote what could be possible sadly wasn’t possible at all.
It’s been over a decade now & we still don’t have this feature. The matte to gloss slider introduced in Forza Horizon 5 at least allowed us to have different base paints to what we could use in the livery editor for individual vinyls but it still wasn’t the full fat version of what was promised.
Please allow special paints to be used in the livery editor for vinyl shapes & groups. This would remove the need for the slider option & we can finally have a livery where all special paints can be used on one car as shown on that pic in 2013.
