Maxwell's Speed Shop's "Zepp's Garage" Class Based Tunes, Hotrods and Drag Cars

Welcome to Zepp’s Garage! Pround member and cofounder of xDeaDx Racing Club and proud new member of A2B Drag Racing Club, BIGTIME MISCLE and Drag 1320. Here I will be showcasing some of my favorite, better cars along with pics featuring what they’re “dressed” in.

I will continue to update and post on the xDeaDxRaCinGx’s Garage thread. As always, I would appreciate any feedback on anything I have out there. Hopping to get back to some more “motorsport” worthy tunes and less “Horizon” style tune. Always very curious about how my drag tunes fair in others hands!

I will also be building and sharing some FH4 stuff as I get things done. Stay tuned!

Hey Zepp
No idea how you can wait those extra days. I was like a kid again this morning.

Looking forward to the new masterpieces.

What’s up man!! Well it’s gonna be a little bit. Life is throwing some curve balls and I’ve been swinging at air!! Job change for sanity sake but killed the budget. Interweb challenged for the time being. I will be back asap!!

I will come back with a new thread but I’ll update this when I’m back. Hopefully next pay period. Thanks for the support, man!!

well I hope everything works out for the better.

Can wait to start chasing you ghost again lol

Oh my goodness I can’t wait until I’m back online!!!

Anybody need their house painted or a bath/kitchen redone? Lol

Sorry to hear but I’m glad your sanity was very important to you. I look forward to your tunes. Hope everything works out for the best and you can tune again soon!

We’ll, after 2 weeks of being in a black hole of no internet beyond the random Wi-Fi, I am back to full strength. I haven’t had a bunch of real time on this game yet and the little bit I have played hasn’t really given me a sense of what we can still do as compared to previous games. I know one of my favorite past times, building and tuning drag cars at the airfield test track open space, is no longer an option. Hopefully I can get some things figured out quickly.

For anyone that has been anxiously awaiting the re-opening of Maxwell’s Speed Shop, (and who isn’t, lmao!) What would the most useful things be when it comes to tunes and builds? Is everything homolagation dependent or is there a use for the “class” cars? Let me know what’s preferred and I will get started as soon as I get home from work tonight.

If anyone would like to take a run or 2 in a nice little Bel Air drag car, I shared a build/tune for it last night. It’s an S760ish, not Homolagated at all. Just a straight up drag car. I ran an 8.5 or an 8.6 at the test track and a 9.2 at Sonoma, I think.

I’m going to be starting a whole new thread for my cars, build/tunes and paints. Keep a lookout for that once I have something to post!!

Hey Zepp,

Man, glad to hear you’re back!

I’m not sure about FM7 though, Buddy! It seems they’ve removed a lot of what we enjoy…Class-based builds/tunes, poor implementation of rivals, no ghosts (that I can see), no leagues yet, no drag racing, ummmm… But the cars do drive nice! We just need more places to use them. LOL!

I am going to be starting a “xDeaDxRaCinGx Garage” thread that will be the home for all things Maxwell’s Speed Shop and xCriMinaLx xCusTomSx featuring build/tunes and paints by xDeaDxZeppLiNx and xDeaDxCriMinaLx.

Once I have a bit of extra time I plan to get some pics up in said thread of some of my favorites from my Maxwell’s Speed Shop. Plenty of drag cars, along with plenty of good, solid muscle car tunes for most needs.

xCriMinaLx will have his NASCAR tunes posted along with others he finds worthy. I will get pics of his rides up as well.

This should be up in a couple days for anybody waiting. For now he’s a quick list of some of what I’ve been working on and have shared so far. The new thread will have these in better detail.

-Alfa GTA Drag S Class 778

-'17 Camaro ZL1 DR A Class 675 homolagated

-'64 Nova Drag S Class 759

-'57 Bel Air Drag S Class 769

-'18 Demon A Class 700 no aero grip(ish lol)

-'68 Ice Charger A Class 681 stock build

-'93 Mustang A Class 700 Breakout

-'65 Mustang C Class 475 homolagated

-'88 Station C Class 500 homolagated

-'89 Porche 944 B Class 525 homolagated

-'13 Ram Runner FE D Class 400 homolagated

-'13 BRZ FE B Class 520 homolagated

Hopefully those are a good start. If anybody gives anything a try, by all means feedback is always welcome!

My new thread is up and running. I will update as much as I can as I progress through Forza 7. I’m still finding my way through the new processes of building, tuning and sharing. It’s alot different than all the other Forza games.

xDeaDxCriMinaLx’s builds and tunes, featuring his NASCAR tunes are also on that thread.

I copied and pasted that list of shared tunes from this post onto the new thread. I have a few more cars to throw put there once I’m back on.

Here’s a link to the new thread,

https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst111497_xDeaDxRaCinGx-Club-Garage.aspx

Well, I figured while I had a thread already going, I’d find a way to keep it alive. I will keep the other thread going and updated. That’s more a “Club” type thread than a personal garage thread.

A big factor in actually restarting this is the nasty little Elco I found myself pulling out of the garage today!! It’s a homolagated C500 Classic Muscle. 440hp swapped LS, stock trans. I think I found a nice sweet spot of power and speed that’s pretty quick even in my hands!

I have a paintjob up for it as well, once I get on the computer later, I’ll get a pic up and throw a few more rides up here.

As always, I certainly welcome all feedback on anything shared! I’m always wanting to know how all my drag tunes especially end up with others driving them.

Here’s a shot of my RWD Drag tuned FF GTX. It can be a handful, but if you use a little throttle control…and a touch of common sense, lol, it’s a very fast car. Had a few wins in some online drag lobby racing this morning. Tune is shared along with the paint job.

This still has a few more laps and a bit more testing, but still a very solid B class breakout car. very stable and pretty quick. Again, paintjob has been shared.

This, this little hotrod is what sorta kickstarted my enthusiasm for this game a little bit. I went back to using some actual math for tuning and not the “horizon” style, throw something together tuning. big difference! this may not be the fastest thing in the Classic Muscle Division or a C Class Breakout race, but I love this car!

My paintjob is from FM6 and is supposed to be a gunmetal flake paint. still looks pretty cool, it’s shared.

I’m still working on a final tune for this bad boy, but this paint is up in the Sharefront. I believe a tune is up also, but still working things out a bit.

as always, I’d love to hear from anybody that gives anything a try. Feedback always welcome!

These look AWESOME Zepp…will certainly be checking some out. Thanks for sharing!
