How do you guys get the matte finish on the cars? I can’t figure out what is being done. I don’t need to do anything fancy, I just like matte finishes.
Paint the car in matte black, and then wrap it in the colour you want, some cars don’t always wrap as well as others though, just have to go by trial and error my friend.
in game you dont need vinals to do matte.
when choosing colors pick any matte color from SPECIAL paints and use color fine tuning to change color i believe the X AND Y buttons for that. all you have to do is read the bottom of the screen when picking paint colors hope this helps.

There are a matte paint option in the paintshop , at least on fh1 and Fh2 on 360 , so guess fm5 also has it . Scroll right in the paintshop to see it
