I don’t know where to put this, the paint thread seems to be just for designs.
Does anyone know who to change the colours of the matte paint option, I’d rather not have every car be red.
Someone said press the X or Y button, but that isn’t even an option. Unless I’m doing something wrong.
Horizon 5 on PC btw.
Can’t really say if it’s different on PC but on X-box you press X.
On the menus when painting the car, tab across twice to the special colours, move down to the matte paint and you should see options at the bottom -
a - ok
b - back
x - paint colour
Press X and play with the sliders to your hearts content.
It should be noted that you don’t seem to have the option to adjust the color of the special paints (satin, matte, etc.) when purchasing a car from the Autoshow. If you want to adjust it, you have to go the design and paint section after you get the car.
Fair play - never noticed that. Usually just paint mine black or white when buying them. Then if they turn out to be a decent car for painting on or quick worry about the final paint later.
