2022 MASERATI MC20

mc20 (2)
mc20

The main highlight of the MC20 is its performance and the MC20’s powertrain is a brand new 3.0L 6-cylinder twin-turbo Nettuno engine bolted to the middle at 90 degrees. It produces 630PS of power and 730Nm of torque and while mated to an 8-speed DCT, the MC20 can sprint from 0-100kph in 2.9 seconds and can go all the way to 325kph.

UP! This should be in game already, Forza Horizon 5 is lacking new cars that are made from 2020-2022

Licensing. Also given Maserati is part of Stellonatis, they’re undergoing restructuring & thus is virtually impossible to get inti the game.

Funny enough this car will be included in the next update of The Crew 2

2020 Maserati MC20

In 2019, Maserati plans to make an all-new sports car. They used an Alfa Romeo 4C as a Test mule, as its very early prototype stage does look like a 4C but with a modified design. But shortly later, Maserati made their own design for MC20, which may imply to be a new prototype that can actually be the car itself.

MC20 debuted in September 2020, as it’s made in Maserati’s assembly plant in Modena, Italy. The MC20 has a 3.0 Twin-turbo Nettuno 90° V6 engine, producing 621 HP with 730 Nm of Torque, and has an 8-speed Tremec DCT.

2 years later after its debut (2022), Maserati made a convertible version called the Cielo, which means it has added +65kg from its standard weight due to its Panoramic roof piece. The original MC20 weighs 1500kg, while Cielo weighs 1565kg.

I work for a Maserati dealer and personally I’d love to see the Cielo version in game! they rarely let us drive the mc20s when we get them so in game would be a great alternative.

Maserati is usually shrug off by many car enthusiasts considering there are alot of competitive car brands out there like the Ferraris, Lamborghinis, etc. But Maserati came from a very rich past established in 1914.

The Maserati MC20 is a V6 Nettuno Engine super car, has a Max power of 621 hp / 538 lb-ft of Torque, and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds, with Top speeds of up to 202 mph.

Aside from its performance, its a subtle looking, more laid-back car compared to a Ferrari. I’m hoping to see this be included in Forza Horizon 5, and I believe if there is going to be an Italian Month Event, then the Maserati MC20, along with the Maserati Gran Turismo 2023 are a MUST HAVE in any racing game.

The Maserati Brand up till today is a respectable brand, and makes a rapid return the moment they presented the MC20 and the New Maserati Grecale.

*It has a Roadster version aswell. W.

2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo

Unlike most drop-tops, the MC20 Cielo features a two-piece folding glass roof that takes 12 seconds to open or close and it can turn opaque at the touch of a button.

Despite the added weight, the Cielo behaves just like its hardtop equivalent as expected. Armed with the 630PS 3.0L 6-cylinder twin-turbo Nettuno engine mated to an 8-speed DCT, the MC20 Cielo can sprint from 0-100kph in 2.9 seconds and can go all the way to 325kph. It’s still great to drive even with the roof down and because it features a double-wishbone suspension system with active shock absorbers as well as the composite material monocoque soaked in carbon fiber, the Cielo behaves like a racecar on the track, just like what the hardtop equivalent should.

I hope MC20 will arrive in Series 24 because next month will focus on Italian cars, as well as FCA Italy’s return👀

It’s a cool car. It would be fun to drive on the track for example.

Hopefully the GT2 version is considered for Motorsport, but I don’t know if Kunos has an exclusive license on it for ACC.

No MC20 in the Italian Automotive update, even on the DLC. Darn, that car is too cool to be missed.

With Horizon Creatives next month set to be the last FH5 series update before October’s Forza Motorsport, this will be the last chance to have the MC20 supercar land in the game.

(I said Maserati MC20, not Lamborghini SC20. What the popsicle is an SC20 anyway?!)

Quite unfortunate, I understand. Even considering some Italian cars like Lamborghini Sian Roadster, Huracan STO, and Ferrari SF90 which arrived in previous series updates before the Italian automotive update shows up.

And who knows, I hope it will arrive in a future Series update, considering that the MC20 recently arrived in Gran Turismo 7.
