Im game haha
Anyone quick want to team up? I know zip about S class but can drive pretty decent with appropriate rides.
I’m excited tournaments are finally here.
Very cool, however I think I might sit this one out as S Class is a little above my skill level, I feel like I’m driving on ice with those cars hah! Hope erryone has a blast.
Can anyone verify that these are the only cars to use? I have my doubts, because it also says any class is allowed…
also, there’s this track list:
edit Also, what are we supposed to sign up for? just choose one week, or enter all weeks? Looking at the entrants, it looks like one person created multiple accounts to enter each week with. need clarification please.
I’m not sure what you mean. From what you’ve posted though, it looks to me like any car is eligible that fits those parameters except for those listed in that list of restricted cars.
ok, that makes more sense. I just saw rule restrictions (allowed) and car restrictions (disallowed) right next to each other and didn’t realize they meant opposites. makes more sense now that I actually look at what cars were listed.
Still, car class is listed as “any”, and we’re also still unclear of what to sign up for, and looks like others are having issues even signing up for one.
Shame is not avilable In europe.
MLG partnership. Just what we needed. /s
Thanks, PJ!
How the heck do you register? I get to the part about linking gamertag (which I have one linked) but no drop down box comes up. It’s annoying.

I’ve had the same issue for the past two days, still haven’t found a solution. Maybe they haven’t opened registration like they said they did? Or there’s some other issue
After having a look at the rules it seems upgrades and tuning are allowed. I wonder if we are allowed to use others tunes or do they have to be our own.
Someone enlighten me. Do I need to make a new team per each week of the tournament? Right now I can’t figure out how to use the same team for more than one week and I have the technological knowledge of my grandfather
I’ve added the schedule to bit.ly/ForzaCalendars
I can’t figure out the format of this tournament. If there’s someone experienced with MLG it would be great if they weigh in.
There are seven weekly qualifier online tournaments to determine players for the Final.
Each qualifier shows the same rules, with 128 slots and a bracket showing 8 rounds to determine 1 winner (128>64>32>16>8>4>2>1)
Rules define a Match as 1v1 and Match Length = Best of 3 Games
Each game is 4 laps, which I’m guessing means a match is roughly 30 minutes to an hour to fully process.
There are 8 hours scheduled for bracket play during the day.
Single Elimination: After losing a Match, Teams will be eliminated from the Bracket.
"Players competing in the Singles events will earn points by competing in the weekly Online Tournaments. "
Online Tournament 1st Place = 5000 Points
Online Tournament 2nd Place = 3000 Points
Online Tournament 3rd-4th Place = 2000 Points
Online Tournament 5th-8th Place = 1500 Points
Online Tournament 9th-16th Place = 1000 Points
Online Tournament 17th-32nd Place = 500 Points
Online Tournament 33rd-64th Place = 250 Points
“At the end of the Online Tournaments, the top 16 Singles in Pro Points from each week will receive in-game rewards and qualify for the Finals event.”
As I understand it: If you lose 2 out of 3 games in your round 1 match, you’re eliminated from the day’s bracket. If you win 2 out of 3 in round 1 but get eliminated based on round 2, you’d at least rank 64th and earn 250 points? Which means the winner of the day will play 8 hours straight for a total of 24 games? Can an eliminated player reregister for Qualifiers 2, 3, etc to earn more points, or are you out completely? Can the 1st place of a qualifier register for and win another qualifier? If they can, are the 16 chosen for the Finals based on points over all weeks, or is it 16 + 16 + 16 + 16 + 16 + 16 + 16 unique players going into the Final?

These are some good points Max! Never even thought about the organization of players in each round. The way I’m reading it, it sounds like points are accumulative and your totals from ALL of the weeks determine if you go to the final…although that’s simply speculation.
FYI, Thanks for keeping on top of this, and the entirety of the forums in general! Your posts are always informative and helpful
Yeah I think everyone’s just as confused as everyone. To cover all basis, I just joined each with a similar team name for 1v1’s. Not exactly sure how it’s going to work out but I guess time will tell.
