So i noticed last night after installing my game that my frame rate seemed really low and when i enabled show fps and usage in game it was at near 100%, but after checking it in task manager i would never go above 30% usage and i have no idea why. If anyone can tell me how to fix this it would mean a lot thanks.
What is low fps? And what are your in game graphics settings?
Low fps as in low frames per second. I’m only getting around 40fps max at 1080p with a GTX 1080. in game it says im using 100% of my gpu but in task manager it says im only utilizing 20%.

Hmmm, seems low enough to run good. My i72600k@4.4ghz with a GTX 1660Ti runs ultra at 60 fps with game showing ~75% GPU usage.
I’ve never checked task manager.
Your PC probably has the in game graphics set to take the first card. That is the inbuilt GPU that comes with your processor. The very limited one.
Go into your bios and make sure your graphics card is set to PCI-E first.
Then go back in game and make sure that it is set to the discrete graphics. I’m on a 7700K and 1070 and 32GB of RAM and i run at maxed out settings on a 2560x1080 monitor and it runs just fine at 75FPS locked!
So you should get similar or better than me.

I have the same issue now, reinstalling doesnt help it, and its not that the game uses the built in gpu in the cpu, beucase it would show in the task manager that too, plus, his 1080 is already at 20% what means that the game does recognize his 1080.
